Chapter 10

　　Jeffrey stood beside the sick woman and looked at her lying motionless. On her eyes was a pained look.

　　\"Andrea Qin, you can have more children. You can\'t spoil your body! How can you not eat for three days? Please eat. \"

　　His tone was gentle, as if to coax a child, but Andrea Qin would not move. She blankly stared at the ceiling.

　　What\'s the point of being alive without her child?

　　Jeffrey Su sighed and gently put down a piece of paper. \"The report said that you had taken a drug which led to abortion. Don\'t you want to go to the Civil Affairs Bureau with Charlie? Since there are no more children involved, the process will be simpler. If you recover a little, you can get a divorce.\"

　　At the mention of Charlie, Andrea’s eyes flickered.

　　Jeffrey Su felt a tinge of sadness, but he didn\'t press the matter. He sighed softly, put down the divorce agreement, and walked out of the door.

　　As he walked out the door, Jeffrey Su\'s face suddenly dawned with realization.

　　The report indicated that she had taken abortion drugs by mistake. And yet she had wanted so badly to keep the child.

　　Andrea Qin was also a doctor. The chance of her taking medicine by mistake was almost zero.

　　Andrea Qin lay motionless on the bed.

　　Andrea Qin cried, then suddenly laughed. She tore the needle off her arm, struggled to get up, grabbed the divorce agreement and stumbled out of the room. At least in the end, she still retained a semblance of dignity. Now she would say good-bye to him, and never see him in this life.

　　That photo he had been staring at was his wedding photo.
