Alice choked on her food and Lucas patted her back slowly before giving her some water to drink. She gulped after drinking the water.

" What?" She asked incredulously.

" What? I was just kidding."Arianna replid happy to catch them off guard.

" Pregnancy, really?" Alice asked.

" Quite being dramatic, and eat up. I just wanted to lighten up the mood. Are you pregnant though?" Arianna replied in faux concern.

" No!" Alice retorted defensively that it made Arianna suspect that she was right.

Shrugging slightly, she replied." Okay, I hear you. Geez! You are so dramatic. It was an innocent question."

Alice's eyes looked desperately at Lucas. It wasn't a joke, Arianna knew what she was doing. She was playing mind games with her.

Alice rose quickly, " I feel a headache, I need to rest. I'll be down later."

Ariana was on her feet in an instant and rushed to Alice's side." Oh, do you need me to bring an advil to you? " She offered.
