I already booked a first class flight for 9am tomorrow morning. I’ll come pick you, love you. Lu stares at her phone as it pops up, she draws a smile and texts back. Okay love. Finally she’s going to get a new life, finally she’s going to be a good person, finally she’s going to be happy she thought. She was like the fairy tale repunzle locked in the tower to do the bidding of her grandmother in this case it’s her foster dad and now finally she aging to be free to explore the o world with the man she loves. Deep in so many thoughts of how life would be with her and Alex away from everyone and everything. In her thoughts she has decided to get a decent job, probably a school teacher so that she will be able to help the kids the more. Soon sleep envelopes her. ~ The next morning, Lu opens are her slightly as the rays of the sun shines directly into her eyes, she smiles and mutters into her breath, “finally.” She stands up to stretch as she hears a loud noise from the door, a gro
Thunder rumbled in the dark clouds above, sending the torrents of rain down to the earth even faster than before. People scurried quickly around beneath their umbrellas to get home as safe as they can. The wind threw around the shrubs, making them away from left to right to left again. A flash sparked in a split second revealing deserted building in the blackened atmosphere. An SUV car speedily drove up the road with its blinding headlights shining far into the darkness. The wheels sprayed a good amount of muddy water into the air, that if anyone had been passing by it at that moment, they would have been drenched by it. The sleek car pulled over in front of the abandoned house. Consequently, the headlights were turned off, calling darkness back to stay till they returned again. William picked up his umbrella from the backseat and opened the door of his car. Opening up the umbrella, he sheltered under it and shut his car, locking it with a remote. He looked around for a while. Even i
“Yes. I'm Micheal Rivers, nice to meet you.” Rich introduced himself to the Indian tourist, reaching out his hand for a handshake. The man gladly took his handshake with a broad smile on his face. “Thank you very much,” the man responded gayly. Rich gave a slight bow, politely putting his right hand on his chest and his left hand behind him. He was wearing nerd glasses that gave off a smart gentleman look to anyone who met with him. “Is that your wife?" Rich asked looking over the man's shoulder at the woman behind him who was busy taking pictures with some little children
William left the bar with the people cheering for him because he had just paid for all their drinks. He had had quite a number of drinks, but William wasn't the type to get drunk easily. Two blonde girls escorted him out of the bar to his car. “When do you want us to come over to your place?” The tallest of the two asked him as he made his way to his car. “We can come with you right now if you want,” the other said in a seductive voice. Williams stopped and gems them both by the waist. They careessed his body, sticking to him like glue and paper. “I have a lot of work to do dolls. But I promise I'll be back for you guys tomorrow,” williams said, kissing the girl on his right in the neck. He turned to kiss the one on his right on the lips. They clung to him as he opened the car with his remote. “Hey Kelly!” a guy called from inside the bar. The tall ran to meet him, leaving her friend with William. “Kelly's gone, you can take me with you now,” the other girl whispered seductively
Rich landed on his bed with a thump. Be stared at the white ceiling and remembered Samantha. Richard rubbed both hands in his face and stood up to go into the bathroom. His phone rang and it was Samantha. "Hey,” he said dryly.“You're ignoring me. You're ignoring me, Rich!” Samantha broke down and started crying.Rich rubbed his temples tiredly and sat back down on the bed. “I told you I had work to do.”“Now that you're not busy, are you ready to talk now?” She asked him. “I guess…”“I told you I'm pregnant. You've been acting all funny about it. Aren't you at least happy to hear that or something?”“Happy? Of course I'm not. We agreed you were going to be on contraceptives didn't we? Then how are you pregnant? Did you really think that I'd be elated at the news? So you know I'm not.”Rich could hear Samantha's dejected sigh over the phone. “I know okay. I was on contraceptives…”“Then why are we having this pregnancy talk? Are you trying to prank me? If it's a prank, then yes yo
William woke up to the sound of the heart monitor beating. He looked around and saw plastic tubes around him. They were either connected to an oxygen tank or to his hand. Smaller kinds of those connected to different tanks and tubes. He woke up to his senses and realised he didn't know where he was. Or to put it in a different term, didn't know how he got to where he was. William could hear the sound of his own breathing in the oxygen mask. His hand started to ache on seeing the needle that was driven into his veins. He could see the blood above him in a small bag. Blood travelled from the thin tube into his veins. His head ached while he tried to remember what had happened to him. He pulled the Oxygen mask off his hand and took out the tubes, trying to get off the bed. It was then he noticed that there were other people in the room. They also had bruises and cuts and were still asleep on their beds. He put his two hands on his head as he felt a surge of migraine shoot up the back
“Hello...Rich…,” Samantha checked the screen of her phone to see if the call was still one but she had hung up on her. She buried her face in her pillow and cried her eyes out. The innocent white pillow soaked her tears and the bed silently accommodated the crying woman. After about half an hour later, Samantha was still on her bed, face down, sobbing. She still finds it hard to wrap her head around the fact that Rich could really break up with her after all they had done together. He was the only man she ever truly loved and wished to get married to, but their four year relationship was called off...over the phone! It was such a heartbreak Samantha wasn't sure she would survive. She turned over to lie on her back and put her hand over her stomach. Despite not wanting to get an abortion, she was also very scared to carry a baby inside of her for nine months. Sooner or later her family was going to find out about everything. At the same time she didn't want to have an abortion. Samant
Bright Illumination filtered through his kids as he shooke them open. He squinted because the room seemed bright to him. He was on the bed, but not tied around with tubes this time. He looked around and noticed that the ward he was in had changed, he was the only one in the room this time. He was also wearing a different colour of hospital clothes. Blue. William sat up on his bed, he felt sedated, but the pain had he was feeling had reduced unlike before. William looked around tiredly and wiped his face with his hands. The memory of.the night before played in his head. He remembered he was being followed by some cars and the last thing he remembered was being hit by another car. “But who were they?” He asked himself, sure that he didn't have the answer to that question. He looked up when he heard the door creaking open. A doctor walked in. He looked kind of familiar to William, but he didn't care. “When can I leave this place,” he asked the doctors. The doctor smiled at him as he w
