CHAPTER 38

Prince Felix is still in shock, his quest for a bride was supposed to be all dreamy and adventurous. Well adventurous but not what he imagined. He has been shot, kidnapped, and swindled. At this point he doesn’t care about his throne or his kingdom. He’d let William take them all but he just wants to see Kelly and ask her why.

He wasn’t sure about the way he’d handle it but he just wants her to explain to him that it wasn’t true and it was all a set up so they could continue their fairy tale.

“How did you know?”

“Know that you’re a prince? She told me, her plan was to dupe you of the donation for the children.”

“How could she?”

Khalil chuckles, “Really man? What part of she is a con artist don’t you get? That’s what she does for a living, you were a fucking job! You’ve been fooled.”

“Let me go, what do you want money?”

Adam barges in pointing a gun at Khalil who was already unarmed.

“Move away from him now or I’ll pull the trigger.”
