CHAPTER FIFTEEN: SUCKING THE DEVIL’S BALLS

KATIE’S POV

I looked at him and met his piercing, intense gaze.

“ Get ready to draft out a contract. The two companies need to partner up soon. I like it.”

The secretary mirrored the look of relief on my face. I guess she thought he would disagree.

Maybe he isn't that bad after all.

But I spoke too soon. Blaze is just a demon that doesn't miss business with pleasures. He liked the offers we made, but he didn't like me, and he came to my office to prove just that.

“ I didn't know the gold-digging wench was also so brilliant.”

I sighed and didn't even bother to look up at him. My gaze was fixed on the document one of the staff had brought to my attention.

“ Are you going to ignore me? You had a problem doing that during the meeting, and now you suddenly don't care.” He said again as he leaned against the table.

“ It's working hours, Blaze. I'd appreciate it if you didn't disturb me. We can always do this some other time. It's not like you ever run out of words to say to me. You kno
