Coffee Time at Ashley’s

Elena stopped by at the coffee shop where Ashley was working.

“Cappuccino, right?” Ashley approached her table and gave her a plate of a cheese cake.

“Thanks,” Elena beamed and moved the coffee cup closer to her.

At the time she was taking a look around the café, it was quite empty. It was around 10 in the morning, she saw there were only three guests in the café including her and a woman with her daughter.

She smirked as her eyes captured the daughter and mother interaction.

The daughter appeared to be under five years old and she talked in excited expression as her mom kept listening seriously. They looked to get involved in a deep conversation and it was so cute to see that, making Elena recalled how she used to be as a little girl.

She sighed and took a sip of her cappuccino, she found Ashley was standing still by her chair, and she was looking at the same direction as her.

“They often visit this café but…I never seen the father…” Ashley shrugged and was about to leave when
