Chapter 52 Noah’s Angel 

The timer dinged and the aroma of meatloaf filled the kitchen. Rune prepared a plate and sat it before me with another long sigh. I assumed it was late and asked if it would be night in hell. Rune glanced out the kitchen window holding his fingers up to the setting sun.

"It's eleven p.m. in hell," he said solemnly. I nod and lift the plate.

"Don't go yet, I need to grab something," he said as he quickly left the kitchen. I glanced down at my green stone amulet next to the diamond ring Noah had given me.

"It's sad that we never even had a wedding,'' I mumbled softly to my wolf and she whined in response. I closed my eyes thinking of Noah and appeared in the dark cavern once again. I could do this on my own. It was a private matter between Noah and me. The growls grew quieter as I carried the dish toward the red eyes watching me intently.

"Sorry it's so late Noah figured I'd bring you something to feast upon so you don't try to eat my hand again," I said in a carefree manner that conf
