Olivia’s POV

Dinner went slower after that, not awkward just a group of people wanting peace after such a long time of not having it.

Maya started talking about some ridiculous cooking class she took over the summer.

“They made us meditate before we even touched the ingredients,” she said, gesturing with her fork. “Apparently, food tastes better when you ‘channel intention.’ I almost left when the instructor started humming over a bowl of rice.”

Ethan chuckled. “Did it work?”

“Only if the intention was chaos,” Maya said. “Half the class burned their onions. I channeled survival.”

That earned a genuine laugh from both men. Even Xander smiled, his first real one of the night.

It was nice, the kind of ordinary moment that had been missing for too long.

Maya leaned back, watching us all. “You see? Peace is possible. I should win an award for this dinner.”

“You’ll get a plaque,” Ethan said dryly.

“With your signature?”

He smirked. “Don’t push it.”

Xander shook his head. “I’ll back her nom

My other therapists working with me has been a God sent, super professional and good people with a heart of gold.Xander's season has officially wrapped up for the year. Although he didn't win a cup; my baby became a MVP, so a win is a win. We've also been seeing fertility specialists for the past months. It's been positive for the time being, still waiting for our bundle of joy. Maya has finally gone the vacation to Europe she has always wanted. Sending us multiple pictures of her trip were sent to us. With a lot of time on our hands. With the season of hockey wrapped up, and me taking time off from my clinic, we finally booked a vacation trip. We finally settled on an all inclusive trip to Jamaica in the Carribeans. Olivia’s POVA few months has passed since that dinner we all had. More good things just kept rolling in. My clinic has become a revolving door of patients from all over the country. I had to hire two specialists to help out. I had all sorts of clients. The one that shocked me more was ballet dancers. It was shocking because you had to be really good for a ballet dancer to Cole for treatments in you clinic. Also, having investors willing to put money in my business goes a long way. Everyday, I have a new investor calling to inquire. The one that took the cake, was the award I had this week. I won the award for Excellence in Sports Medicine. I couldn't believe it, the flashing lights, the award shining in my hands that day.And there was Ethan. My boy went and done us proud. Winning the Stanley Cup for the Chicago Blizzards was a life changing event for him. The pride and joy I felt as a mother when he lifted that cup to a full stadium and cheering fans.Xander, my husband was also

  • OFF LIMITS: HIS BEST FRIEND'S MOTHER    GOOD TIDINGS

Olivia’s POVIt's been a tidings of good things in our life. Everything has been going smoothly, it's like the universe decided to make up for all the shit we've been through. First it was my clinic, I had to hire new workers. It was packed daily, no single day went with me having less than 30 clients. People were coming from all over, athletes from different sports professions, kids, women, men. I was so grateful to have them all.Xander has also been thriving in the Timber Wolves, it's been a winning streak from that very first game he played with them.Maya's news came in yesterday, she was just promoted at work and I couldn't be more happier. Ethan was also thriving in the Chicago Blizzards as a captain. The team has totally had a new outlook since he was in that position. So, what best way to celebrate all these achievements than dinner at an expensive restaurant? We decided to have dinner at La Chateau, with Xander and I arriving first choosing a table at the far corner wher

  • OFF LIMITS: HIS BEST FRIEND'S MOTHER    PLANNING THE FUTURE

Olivia’s POVIts being a few days since Cassandra's video went viral and since then I could breathe a little easier. Blogs were still posting about the incident, but overall most of them have moved on.Apologies were still poring in from people that have wronged us. Also, Xander's former teammates who blacklisted him, called to apologies too.The past week has been good, Maya and I had lunch when we can, discussing about the video and wondering what promoted her to change. Ethan calls everyday to check up on me, and also pops in for dinner here and there. The clinic has been keeping me super busy, with clients coming in every single day. Xander's been away more often too with practice and team games. But today, we were both at home, away from our busy lives. We also just had dinner, a simple meal of pasta and chicken. Now, we were curled up on the couch with Xander rubbing slow circles on my back, basking in each other's comfort.“You know,” I started, wanting to release what has bee

  • OFF LIMITS: HIS BEST FRIEND'S MOTHER    CASSANDRA'S CONFESSION

Olivia’s POVI shifted slightly in bed as Xander's body enveloped me from behind. After our rendezvous a few minutes ago, I needed all the rest I could have. My butthole was burning a bit with every move but it was a good kinda hurt. After some time, the heat left me and I felt Xander shift upwards. Nothing thinking much about it, I wanted to drift to sleep when a sharp inhale woke me up.Jerking up because of the sound, I winced a little as my butthole puckered at the movement. Looking at Xander, his eyes were wide like he'd seen a ghost, his face illuminated by the bright light in the otherwise darkroom. My heart rammed in the chest as I saw that look on his face. “Babe? What’s wrong?” I mumbled, rubbing my eyes as I move closer to him a bit. He didn’t say anything at first, just handed me the phone with a stunned look. “You gotta see this, Liv. It’s… Cassandra.”My mouth soured at the name, worst nightmare confirmed. God, what was she up to now, what lies have she spewed again.

  • OFF LIMITS: HIS BEST FRIEND'S MOTHER    HEATED SHEETS

Xander’s POVThe arena was still humming with the win of today. Spectators were still milling around, the ice workers getting ready to clean the ice. My teammates were coming to us, Erikson reached us first. “Well, damn, Hayes,” he said, nodding toward Olivia, Ethan, and Maya. “You didn’t mention your people were this cool.”I laughed and slid an arm around Olivia’s waist, pulling her close to me. She was warm against my own cold body. “Guys, this is my wife, Olivia. Liv, meet the team—Eriksson, our fearless captain; Jax, the human wrecking ball on defense; Aiden, who fed me that beauty of a pass today; and the rest of these fucking lunatics.”Olivia smiled, a little shy at being introduced to a lot of people but she puffed her chest out. “Hi. You all played incredibly today. I’m so proud of Xander and honestly, the whole team.”Eriksson shook her hand firmly with respect. “The pleasure is all ours. Haye’s been grinding hard in practice. That hat trick wasn’t just luck.”Jax leaned
