Chapter Twenty Four

A peaceful sunday morning only turned out to be a failed plan for Grace. She met Mr.Charmond's face in the room and opened the thick blanket that covered the whole body, from head to toe.

There was even a slight shock that Grace felt when the man's call did not get any answer. Grace is so pissed off!

His body bent down, making sure Grace had opened eyes to his current presence.

"You will live a long life if you get up early, Grace." He said.

"I don't need your sermons!" Grace pushed the body of the man next to her with a terrible look, like killing Mr.Charmond with one sharp knife.

Those words were only given a sweet smile, Mr.Charmond handed a glass filled with water to the woman on the bed.

"Don't you miss your palace, Grace? You seemed to enjoy spending the night here, so you didn't notice me coming." He said.

"Here I sleep with pleasant dreams." She pulled away from the blanket, visible slightly disheveled nightgown with shoulder-length hair that smells very good.
