Finally Working

The taxi drove excruciatingly slow but it gave Liza the opportunity to plan her next move. Annie had been thrilled when Liza said she'd be accompanying her to school but little did she know the reason her mother was risking another job to do so.

“I just heard the bell, mum!” Annie screamed as the taxi came to a stop just outside the gates of the school. It was a private school and even though Liza was struggling as hell to afford the fees, she was determined to give her daughter the best education.
