Adrain ignored his questions and released his hold on Sara’s waist. He placed her against the door and walked off stopping in front of Elijah who was still clinging onto the security guards for support. He leaned down making sure his face was close to his. “If you ever harass Sara again or so much as look at her, your whole family would face my wrath.”

Sending Elijah one final glare, Adrain pulled Sara’s hand and together the two walked out of the room and out of the party. Sara spared a glance at Adrain and shivered at the look in his eyes. His usually calm eyes were now restless and burning. He was angry no doubt, she just hoped he wouldn’t punish her for her involvement with Elijah because she had been struggling to break free from him.

Just thinking about what would happen if Adrain sent shivers down her spine. Elijah had been determined to have his way, he had been set on his goal and she wouldn’t have been able to stop him even if she broke a bottle over his head. He’d have just
