50- Conference

When Robert and Julia reached the destination around noon, they saw media swarming the place. News channels vans were parked outside with their reporters and cameramen.

“What is exactly going on here, Robert?” For the first time in her life, Julia felt a little scared. She was here to threaten Emerald that she would bring her treachery in front of the media. It seemed they had already done the job for them.

Robert did not know what to answer his girlfriend when he was confused. Their lawyer met them and then went inside without making any remark.

“Baby! Should we go back and come another time?” Julia asked him clutching his hand a little too tight.

“No. Nothing can stop me from meeting my daughter.” Julia did not notice that today Robert did not say getting my daughter. He just said ‘meeting my daughter’.

They were ushered into a big room that seemed to be a drawing room. A brown rectangular table was set for three with three mics fixed on it.
