They were both placed on their chests for skin-to-skin contact to delay some neonate procedures I knew nothing about because it was still an hour until I could breastfeed them for the first time.

"The New Born screening tests are yet to confirm whether they are deaf, Veronica" Ezra answered me nuzzling his nose over the baby.

"Your sins but my babies will pay, my babies will pay for all your crimes this way. All babies cry when they are born. What else could be the reason for not crying?" I shot back.

"First and most prominent reason, they are not cry babies like their mom so yeah that's why they didn't cry plus you have just delivered two human beings, and have expelled the placenta so shut those fucking eyes and rest before I decide to make you, my way" Roy barked at me.

"What if they are deaf? We can do something about it, right? Why are they not crying
