Chapter Eleven •

Her heart raced as he walked towards her. He wore a white shirt,a slim fit royal blue tuxedo and a blue polka dot tie. 

His hair was stylishly cut at the nape of his neck. She looked away making herself understand that she disliked this man and was only getting married to him because of her mother.

He sat beside her and she could feel her stomach churn again. She was sure she was already sick of him.

"My son," Lucinda said kissing his forehead. "I'm so proud of you." she said.

"I'm the one who's more proud here Lucinda," Carina chipped in. "I'm having such a handsome man as my son in law." she said smiling and held his cheek tenderly.

Leo could hardly suppress his embarrassment. They were treating him like a little boy.

"Mom," he whined.

"Cut the kids some break you too. It's their engagement tonight,give them some room." Henry said coming out from nowhere with Rio.

"Let the ceremony begin." Rio said motioning to Leo to come forward
