Chapter 31

　　Daniella left after dinner. Vera has been thinking about how to find the man who was injured in the accident. After paying him, she can let the whole thing go, put the past behind her. She was going to start a new chapter in her life.

“Mommy, you can call Uncle, I want to know what happened to Brother Tommy.”

Luna genuinely cared about Thomas Qiao.

“Oh, yes. Mommy will call now.”

Vera quickly picked up the phone and dialed Sean Qiao’s number.

“What’s up?”

His familiar indifferent voice never failed to dampen her mood.

“Is Tommy there?”

Vera went straight to the point. She wanted to speak to him as little as possible. Sean Qiao too much, and was always afraid that he would think too much.

Sean gave Vera the phone number in Thomas’s room, and then hung up.
