LOGINPart 2
I snatched the jewelry worn by my husband's mistress.
I will not let that woman enjoy what belongs to me. The same goes for the jewelry around my mother-in-law's neck. I took it all. Because it is mine.**
"Natasya? Honey... you... you're here?"
Roby stepped closer. His eyes were filled with disbelief. The wife he thought would never return to this house was standing there, perfectly fine.Like Jordy, Roby looked as if he had seen a ghost when he faced Natasya.
"Of course I'm here, Roby, because this is my house,"
Natasya emphasized the last words.Roby let out a shaky laugh.
"Oh, right. You're right, this is your house. It's just that... oh my God. Natasya."He moved closer and wrapped her in an emotional embrace.
"Tell me I'm not dreaming. This is really you, my love," Roby said, his eyes glistening. Only he knew whether those tears were tears of happiness or fear.Natasya let Roby hold her, even though it disgusted her.
In her heart, there was no longer any love for this unfaithful man."You're not dreaming, Roby. I am Natasya—your wife."
Her gaze met Larisa's—the other woman.
The woman in the luxurious dress lowered her head.Perfect. She's wearing my dress, Natasya thought, smiling coldly.
"When did you recover? I... I never expected you to get better, honey. I missed you, Natasya."
Natasya gently pushed Roby away.
"I recovered thanks to God, Roby. Tell me if I'm wrong, but... you don't seem happy to see me here?"
she guessed, lifting her chin with a cynical smile."You're wrong, Natasya. Of course I'm happy you've recovered."
Roby took a deep breath.
"I... I'm just surprised. Why didn't anyone tell me about your condition? And tell me—why did you enter the house by... crashing into the gate?" Roby suddenly questioned her actions, as if the damage his wife had caused was unforgivable.Roby should have known—what Natasya had just destroyed was nothing compared to the devastation in her heart.
"Because Jordy wouldn't let me in!" Natasya snapped.
"That's why I was forced to break through the gate.""What?!" Roby exploded.
He marched over to Jordy and slapped the guard.
SLAP!
"How dare you! You stopped my wife from entering her own house?!"
Natasya merely smiled faintly as she watched Roby's outburst.
She knew he was panicking.Jordy rubbed his aching cheek.
"I'm sorry, Mr. Roby. I was only following your orders. Didn't you—""Jordy isn't at fault, Roby. Because it seems everything in this house has changed. Everything."
Natasya then turned toward the four people who had come out with Roby.
"Natasya, I'm happy you've recovered and returned to this house."
Camila, her mother-in-law, stepped forward.
She wore a cheerful expression, though Natasya knew it was nothing but pretense. When Camila tried to hug her, Natasya immediately raised her palm in refusal.
Camila stopped and stepped back.Natasya's gaze sharpened as it pierced straight toward Larisa,
who had apparently become the queen of her palace."Natasya?"
Larisa looked terrified."I never expected your presence in my life was only to steal everything that belongs to me," Natasya said coldly.
Now she stood face to face with Roby's other woman.
"I—I..." Larisa's face flushed red.
"Natasya, let me explain, honey."
Roby quickly stepped in front of Natasya, clearly intending to shield Larisa—his mistress. It seemed Roby feared that Natasya might do something terrible to Larisa.
"So you couldn't wait for me to recover, Roby?" Natasya snapped.
"To the point that you brought her into my house?"Her hands clenched tightly, her anger reaching its peak.
"I—I thought you wouldn't recover, so—" Roby grew more nervous.
"You could have fought for my recovery if you wanted to, Roby," Natasya cut him off.
"This husband of yours never intended to do that, Natasya.
He let you lie helpless in the hospital while he threw parties in your parents' house," Danil spoke again."Shut up, Danil! You—didn't I fire you as this family's lawyer?!" Roby shouted.
"Why are you even here?!""The only one who has the right to fire me is Natasya,"
Danil replied, looking at Roby arrogantly.Roby turned to Natasya.
"Honey, he's not fit to be our family's lawyer."
"Which family are you talking about, Roby?" Natasya asked with an icy stare.
"Natasya, honey, he—Danil can't do his job properly, he—"
"Your husband got angry when I refused the transfer of ownership of all your assets and your family's inheritance.
He wanted his name registered under your company, even though it's clearly stated that it does not belong to Roby," Danil said again. He was clearly satisfied with how things had unfolded."Don't talk nonsense, Danil! You bastard!"
Roby lunged at Danil. But he failed. Danil's bodyguards immediately restrained Roby before he could attack their boss.
Roby's arms were firmly held."Let me go!" Roby shouted.
"Don't believe Danil, Natasya. I would never do that to you. I—"
"Unfortunately, I trust Mr. Danil more than you, Roby."
Natasya cast a look of disdain at Roby and the others.
"Move. I'm going inside."
She shoved Larisa's shoulder roughly and walked into her house.
Larisa didn't dare resist. She chose to step aside and give way to Natasya.Upon entering the spacious living room, Natasya froze.
"Wow. You're throwing a party in my house?"
She clapped her hands slowly, her eyes sweeping over the food laid out on the table.
Expensive food. Expensive drinks. What a waste.
Danil was right.
They must have been partying in my house all this time."Who do you think you are? Spending money on party after party—
in my family's house!" Natasya's eyes blazed with fury."Natasya, today is my child's and Larisa's birthday, we—"
"You brought this woman into my house without my permission!" Natasya cut him off, pointing straight at Larisa, who looked increasingly terrified.
"Then you brought your entire family—your mother, your brother, and your sister-in-law—into a house that is not even yours! Where is your brain, Roby?!" Natasya shouted.Larisa looked at Roby in fear.
"This is my house, Roby, not a social shelter!"
Natasya then gave a signal, and Danil's bodyguards immediately released their grip on Roby.
"You let me lie helpless in a hospital bed for two years. You didn't care about my recovery at all! But look at this—while I was suffering, you were partying in my parents' house! Well done, Roby. Truly well done."
"The doctors had given up on curing you, Natasya, so—"
"So Roby proposed euthanasia for you, Natasya," Mr. Danil spoke again.
"What? You proposed that for me?" Natasya asked in disbelief.
To Danil, euthanasia was an act of cruelty.
Everyone still deserves a chance to live. Natasya was not dead—she was only in a coma. A coma is not death. That was why Danil strongly opposed Roby's request.
According to Danil, Natasya's wealth was more than enough to fund her treatment. But Roby refused.Roby wanted to get rid of Natasya—the true owner of the house and the company—so he could freely live with Larisa, his lover who had long pretended to be Natasya's secretary.
Natasya felt completely manipulated.
"SHUT YOUR MOUTH, YOU BASTARD! NO ONE ASKED YOU TO SPEAK HERE!" Roby shouted at Danil.
He felt Danil had interfered too much.
Roby panicked. He was cornered, and it seemed Natasya already knew everything. The question haunting Roby was—who had cured Natasya?
Before Roby could say anything else, Larisa, the other woman in his life, suddenly screamed.
"Roby! She took my jewelry!"
In an instant, the atmosphere in Natasya's living room turned dangerously tense.
PART 40The black car moved slowly along the cooling asphalt, keeping a safe distance from the luxury sedan ahead.Behind the impenetrable tinted glass, the man in dark sunglasses observed every movement with the calm precision of a predator. His target was clear: Natasya—the woman Larisa wanted erased from this world by this very afternoon.“For you, Larisa… I’ll give you anything you want. But after this, you will belong to me.”The memory of Larisa’s body in his arms replayed vividly in his mind.No wonder he had fallen for her.To him, Larisa was perfect—far more perfect than his barren wife.“Don’t rush… enjoy the game first,” he muttered, steering the wheel with one hand.Up ahead, Natasya’s car exited the office district, cutting through the early evening traffic. The hired gun s
PART 39The room felt suffocating—not because of the air, but because of the decision Larisa had just made.In that cheap hotel, Larisa had given up her dignity. She allowed herself to be touched again and again by a man she did not love.“You really are beautiful, Larisa.”Sweat clung to her smooth, alluring skin. She closed her eyes for a moment, her breath rising and falling as she tried to steady the storm raging inside her chest, threatening to tear her apart. All of this… was for Gaby. While the man continued to indulge himself, letting out low, satisfied sounds, Larisa cursed silently in her heart. In her mind, the image of Natasya dying in agony played over and over again.“Thank you for that, darling. You know, I’ve admired you for a long time.”Larisa turned her face away.
PART 38Life went on, even though grief was still clearly visible on Larisa’s face and deep in her heart. That morning, Larisa finally came out of her room after spending several days in silence, constantly thinking about Gaby, her daughter.“I’m glad you finally decided to come out of your room.”Camila felt a little relieved. Her sense of guilt slowly began to fade.“I’m sure you and Roby can still have another child to replace Gaby.”“Gaby cannot be replaced, Mom.”Camila immediately realized she had said the wrong thing.“I know. But staying in grief won’t bring Gaby back. What I mean is…”“Mom, that’s enough. It’s time for breakfast.”Roby quickly interrupted. He didn’t want Larisa to fall back into her sorrow.“I made porridge for you,” Camila said as she placed the meal in front of Larisa.Larisa sat still without moving. She stared at the porridge with no interest at all. Her eyes looked empty.Beside her, Camila and Roby exchanged glances, trying to find a way to help Larisa
“Larisa, watch your words! Remember, we still need Natasya for our future,” Roby whispered, reminding her.“Calm yourself, Larisa. Leave everything to God. Let Him deliver justice if she truly is the culprit,” Camila said wisely.Behind her concerned expression, Camila let out a quiet sigh of relief, her plan had gone smoothly without a hitch. That morning, while everyone was busy handling the funeral arrangements, she had slipped back home and destroyed the CCTV hard drive in the study. She was indeed grieving the loss of Gaby, her granddaughter. But Camila loved herself more. She had no intention of going to prison just because her poison had hit the wrong target.**That night, in the grand house, the atmosphere felt tense and chilling—just like its owner.Natasya sat in the living room, waiting for Roby, who had just returned after escorting Larisa to her room to rest.“Come in,
CHAPTER 36: Tears on the Red Soil“How could I not be afraid? My grandchild is fighting for her life in there, and yet the two of you—his wife and his first love—are still busy tearing each other apart.”“Ex-wife, Camila. I will soon be your son’s ex-wife.”Natasya snorted in annoyance.“That can be discussed later. For now, we should pray together, so Gaby will be okay.”Natasya chose to sit in the waiting chair.Even though she had no real place here, she still wanted to know the child’s condition—the child born from her husband’s affair with Larisa.“Larisa, sit down.”Roby guided his mistress to sit not far from Natasya. The two women locked eyes, the air thick with hostility.“I will never forgive you, Natasya, if my daughter doesn’t survive. Remember that.”Larisa hissed threateningly.Meanwhile, Natasya remained silent, her gaze calm. She turned to Roby.Instantly, Roby released his embrace from Larisa.Natasya only gave a faint, condescending smile. She didn’t care even if Ro
The car driven by Roby sped through the still-empty morning streets. In the backseat, Larisa kept shaking Gaby’s tiny, limp body."Hurry, Roby! Gaby is so cold! She won't open her eyes!" Larisa screamed, her voice hoarse."Be patient, Larisa! I’m already speeding! Try to keep calling her name!" Roby replied, his face pale and drenched in cold sweat. He couldn't let anything terrible happen to his daughter."Gaby, wake up, sweetheart... Don't scare Mommy. Come on, open your eyes!" Larisa’s sobs filled the car's cabin. As soon as they reached the emergency room, Roby ran in carrying Gaby."Help! Someone please save my daughter!"He rushed into the room where several doctors and nurses were on duty."What happened?" asked one of the nurses."She’s been vomiting severely since this morning, but her body suddenly went ice cold. She won't wake up even when we call her," Roby explained. The nurse immediately took Gaby into the treatment room. Roby and Larisa were held back at the door, their

Chapter 26: Sweat and Trampled PrideThe cold, air-conditioned office had now been replaced by a dusty warehouse filled with piles of goods everywhere. The stifling heat hit instantly as Roby stepped inside, files in hand.Roby stood frozen for a few seconds in front of stacks of cardboard boxes th
PART 15“What? You want to marry my daughter?”Mr. Jordan stared sharply at Roby. After spending several months together, love had finally blossomed between Roby and Natasya. Once he was certain of their feelings for each other, Roby boldly asked Mr. Jordan for permission to marry her.“Father?” Na
