Aliaria’s Point of ViewIt wasn’t today that I have been accused of bad luck following me. That has to be the only explanation that made sense. Either that or the moon goddess was after me. I looked at the listings again to make sure that I wasn’t misreading anything or there was a mistake somewhere but there was none. The ones in charge of these games made sure it was really easy to read these lists. Even now, our pictures were right there besides our names. I looked at the picture again, feeling the terror already mounting I know I’m good at combat but one look at my opponent and I knew that it wouldn’t be easy. Kai clears his throat beside me and I remembered he needed to look at the listings too. I step aside so he could see, unconsciously brushing against him, not realizing how close to me he was. I apologize as I move and I catch him glance down. Then I remembered I was just in a flimsy towel and a make shift turban from another towel wrapped on my head. I must be a sight. I ti
Aliaria’s Point of ViewI woke up with my heart racing. It was like my body already knew what was ahead of me right now. I sat up quickly and looked over to realize that Kai didn’t even sleep in her last night. My very first thought is that he slept with another female but I couldn’t care less. He can do whatever he wants to. I am obviously jealous but I won’t let that affect me right now. I look at the glowing clock on the bedside table. It was just 4am. Well, I slept off really early and I’m not used to getting so much sleep so of course I woke up early. I slip into a tank top and some leggings. I could stay today like my typical routine. I went out to go running for a little while. I love the quiet but I hate it at the same time. I’m used to music blocking my ears as I run but right now, it was so silent I could hear myself think. I didn’t need that. Running is meant to be mindless. I continue running the route between the cabins and the gym. Aware of ever single sound, I heard wh
Aliaria’s Point of ViewI couldn’t look anymore. I covered my face with my hands. We are so cooked. This loss can set us back a whole lot. Kai was good but his opponent was a straight up menace. He continued hitting Kai repeatedly, breaking his nose further and further. You would think I would be used to so much blood by now but I wasn’t. With each blow, my heart sank lower and lower. I don’t know how but I was hoping for a miracle now. Maybe he would discover a strength he didn’t know about if he just dug deeper. I wanted to yell at the to stop the whole fight or something but I know werewolves. We fight till we lose consciousness. At least, it isn’t till the death. There it was. The miracle. I see Kai’s had twitch and I see his claws lengthen. The moon goddess does answer prayers it seems. It took one slash to weaken the opponent. I think he was more strength than endurance because soon, Kai was on him and hitting as hard. It was a good thing. My hear rate had slowed down now. At l
Aliaria’s Point of View The speed at which I fell to the mat covered floor was even shocking to me. It all happened so fast that I barely even registered the pain. I don’t know why I even had the idea that she may go easy on me or at least not throw her whole life and being into defeating me . I see the entire plan now. She had planned to butter me up so I would most likely go soft on her. I recover and pounce back on my feet. I could see the satisfaction on her face and I knew that I was done for. I decided to go on the defensive end and I tried my best to block her jabs. She was coming at me really fast. I was working based on pure adrenaline and no skill. I just needed her to tire out so I can switch to the offense. For the first few minutes, she still looked like she could keep going and I was already getting tired myself. However, I felt encouraged when I saw that she has began to slow down. I just needed to win this. If I did, it may put Kai and I at the top of the scoreboard.
Aliaria’s Point of View.Everything seemed so far away. I could hear the voices spurring me on but I couldn’t lift my eyelids. They were too heavy. I needed to sleep. I just needed to recover. I was so tired. I could see my children playing in the sun. I wanted to run to them. I have missed them so much. Life was so different without seeing them for so long. I missed making their lunches. Alyssa waved at me and I waved back enthusiastically. I was coming for them. I gather them into my arms. “Mummy, you have to get up.” Alyssa keeps on telling me repeatedly. Suddenly, I remember who all this is for. I get a little strength and I can push open my eyelids. The announcers were looking for on both Jena and me maybe checking to see if we were both unconscious. It was still a struggle to keep my eyelids open. With all the Josie and clamoring from the spectators, I was having a roaring headache. Holding my head, I try to stand up but I cannot. “It appears that there is a tie. Both opponent
Aliaria’s Point of ViewMy heart cannot take this much drama in one day. I may actually have a heart attack and for real this time. Immediately the girls dropped that news, I was so nervous and excited that I tried to get up from my bed. That was a terrible idea. The nurse had helped move Jena and I closer together but I was still connected to IV bags. Standing up so quickly made me rip out the vanilla. That was painful but my body didn’t even acknowledge the pain yet. I just needed to see the scoreboard. That way, I was finally going to be at peace. I needed to know if my efforts were worth it at all. I don’t even know how the scores were awarded but I know that Kai and I had to be at the top of the table. It could just be the overachiever in me though. “Chill out. It would be displayed her son the tv. I’ll just grab a healer to fix that for you.” One of the girls, I think, Audrey says, helping me back to my bed. I watched the blood run down my arm and I felt bad for messing up the
Aliaria’s Point of View That had grabbed my attention. To some extent, I hoped he was knocking on the door to grovel outside and beg for me to open up and listen to him. A small delusional part of me had wanted him to sit outside the door all night but I was being foolish. This was way more important. I hope it wasn’t a way to get me to relent. However, I knew it was more serious than that though. I knew the organizers were capable of doing something like that. If I have learned anything in these games, it’s that you can’t trust anyone. The ones eliminated are also capable of doing an all out war. After all, there were high emotions after the first games, wounded egos and with the shock of the eliminations too, anyone would be incensed. Taking a deep breath, I open the door. I didn’t want to see Kai right now but we had more serious issues that were bigger than us. We needed each other now, and I’m hoping that this time, he wouldn’t leave me to fend for myself alone. I fold my arms
Aliaria’s Point of ViewWith each push of the door, my heart hammered ten times as hard. I was so scared. Both Kai and I weren’t at our full capacities. No matter how tough we were, those fights took a lot from us. I knew they were close to breaking in completely. The whole precautions we took were just to stall them. I knew it wouldn’t take up to fifteen minutes before that barrier was done. I hoped that I would have some strength in case I needed to call on my wolf for help again. I squeeze Kai’s hand, waiting for the end. We could only hope right now that they weren’t so much and that even the ones available, would be tired. After all, they had to be unconscious for their opponent to be announced winners. Finally, they broke through. I could see the damage they had done to the wood doors. They had scratched through the door, and I could see the splinters of wood. Kai and I charged at them, not even bothering to check who it was. I went in with my claws and trying to hit with the l
Kieran POV"Babe you are getting all worked up about this people. It is obvious that they are no longer here to serve as threats and the soldiers claim they are not in Silver Moon." Willow was walking back and forth with anger in her eyes. She had every right to be angry which is understandable. Her biggest archenemies slipped through her hands."I should have killed her when I got the chance. This is all your fault. You allow your ego get in the way and look at how far it brought us. Now Aliaria is somewhere hiding and plotting.""Are you really going to blame this on me? I cannot believe you will do something remotely as that. We both saw what happened. Aliaria outsmarted you in every sense and you simply cannot deal with it."SmackI felt the light snuffed out of me as her hand connected with my face."Don't you ever speak to me like that again. I need you to remember that I am a witch and I don't take things likely. You fumbled the biggest opportunity and now I have to fix t
Aliaria POVWe appeared in the middle of a forest. The ray of the sun blast through our faces. Dawson and Kaidon scanned the forest for a moment."Where is this place?" Kaidon asked."I don't know. But right now we are safe from them." I replied, clearing out the bush paths and taking my sit. "We have to find a way out of this place and return to Silver Moon Pack." I added.Dawson moved into the bushes without saying a word. "What is he going to do?" I asked Kaidon , who watched him walk into the bush."Dawson is a Rogue King. He knows the forest more than any one. I think he will be able to tell where we are at the moment." Kaidon explained, sitting down beside me.We sat in silence, allowing the trees serve as our shades. "I am very happy that we are out of that place. Our baby needs a good place to grow." Kaidon said to me."We need to get back to Silver Moon Pack. I am not going to give birth to a rogue baby." I replied to him. Kaidon turned around to look into my eyes
Aliaria POVI was still feeling good from the intimate moment I had with Kaidon last night. His hands worked magic round my body and even thinking about it brought smile to my face.Today was the final tournament. As I approached the tunnel, all I keep thinking about was the aftermath eith Willow . Nobody knows what her next line of action was going to be. Dawson comes over to my side, placing his hand on my shoulder. "I have good news for you." He said in a low tone."What is the news?" I asked as we waited for the tunnel door to be opened."Before helping Lyra escape from the pack, she informed me that we were going to be having a child." My eyes widened in disbelief. "I am happy for the both of you. Why didn't she tell me!" I asked with a pout on my face."She has to leave due to the emergency. You of all people should understand." He replied.I was going to say something but the doors of the tunnel opened and the ray of the sun hit our faces."Are you ready to fight?" Dawson
Aliaria PovOne of the soldiers walked in but I was quick to sense his presence causing me to vanish out of sight before he could even notice me.“There has been reports of a crisis on going in Silver Moon pack” While he was talking, Kieran was staring at me confusedly not paying attention to what his soldier was saying.“Whatever happens in Silver moon pack is none of our business.” He replied precisely and this leads to the soldier turning around to leave.“One more thing.” Kieran said and the soldier paused on his track and turned around to look at him.“Do you perhaps see anyone in this room?” He asked, looking at me suspiciously and then it clicked.I have never used my powers before in his presence, thus the reason for his surprise and curiosity.“There is no one here sir.” The soldier replied and he is dismissed immediately. After he was gone, I came out of my hiding.“You also have magical powers just like Willow .” He pointed out, looking at me with shock on his face.“It
Aliaria PovI leaned by the wall in my room in silence, watching Dawson pace around while Kaidon sat on the bed.The atmosphere is heavy on silence because of what had happened moments ago. “She didn’t do it. I know my Audrey very well. She will never do such a thing.” Dawson broke the silence talking to no one but himself.I felt his pain because we had all watched her head fall down rolling on the floor. “Kiieran has struck a chord in me and I swear when the time is right. I am going to be the one pluck his heart from with my claws.” He explained while he was still fuming in anger. On the other hand my presence was with them but at the same time I drifted away into my thoughts.Even though we watched Audrey killed before us, I still didn’t want to believe it was real. Closing my eyes, I recall the smile on Willow’s face. It was the same cold smile she gives out when she has done something evil.“But what if she is not actually dead?” I voiced out and they all gazed at me with fur
Aliaria PovNight time was usually the moment that I tried to recollect my thought but it wasn’t the same this night.I walked into the large hall in a flowing night gown with my new body guard beside me. I did not want to use my magic on him because he was surprisingly loyal to me.The hall was made up of all Alphas seated at the table and I walked over to meet Kaidon and sit right next to him.“Seeing you in that gown makes me want to take you right now.” He whispered to my ear, causing me to giggle. The atmosphere changed as Kiieran and Willow walked into the room, both taking their sit at each other’s side respectively.“Is it just me or they don’t seem happy together.” Dawson questioned as the meals were being served.“I think it has to do with us. Willow has plans for the final tournament but Kiieran’s ego will not allow her accomplish the plan that she hopes to execute.” Kiieran cleared his throat and got up to his feet. He held his cup of wine and looked at the table with a s
Aliaria POVThe next day my head was still fully trying to rap my mind around the dream I had the previous night. Not everybody had the opportunity to see the moon goddess but I was opportunity to meet her. How long hair and her White flowing gown brought this angelic essence to her.Today a meeting has been announced by Kieran and my mind keeps telling me he was going to talk about what had happened between Damon and Kill bird.I was happy that all the alphas so the magic and I knew the most have talked about it. "Do you think Grace is going to show up in the meeting?" I turned around and Damon was standing beside me. I noticed he was favoring his left arm and figure it was from the impact of the site from the previous night. "After everything that happened yesterday I figured she's going to stay low for a while before showing her face again."All the alpha worked inside with several Park soldiers moving in. Kaidon was the last two step out of the room and the all took their
Aliaria POVIt has been 3 days since I obtained the mark of Apollo from Kieran 's shelf. The truth in the book was astounding following what had happened to Killian .Kieran had declared that for the rest of the week there won't be any tournament till when the time of his chosen comes. Sunday Lee I felt a strong energy holding around my body and my legs became weak my eyes became blurry causing me to fall into a trance state. When I open my eyes I found myself in an empty room with only one ray of light coming through the window. Where am I? Am I dead or was it some sort of a dream? "It is not any dream Aliaria it is me." I turned around startled by The voice of the wizard who held unto his staff and worked out of the shadows to face me. He had a long mustache and his beards had grown more than the last time we saw. "Age has really caught up with you dear wizard." I said reviewed iron his body from head to toe. "When you have stayed in the world for a very long time that is wh
Dawson POVThe moment Killian step forward I noticed something very odd about him. His eyes are changed colors and they were soulless.I felt a weird energy around him and for some reason I knew something was wrong somewhere. I turned around and notice the smile on Grace's face almost like she had planned something out. I begin to connect the dot and realize that I wasn't hallucinating when I said I had seen Killian and Willow .The horns were blown and the fight was to start immediately. "Now I am going to finish you." He said and launched the attack. I moved out of the way I see aggressively step forward with his hand almost connecting with my face. I wasn't going to make the same mistake I had not earlier but unlike the first round he was very fast in this one. Every point that came to my face I slightly moved out of the way causing a friction before anything happened.I distracted him after seeing an opening and my hand connected with his jaw and his stumbled backwards.
