It took me close to an hour to do the laundry and by the time I was done, I was too tired to do anything else. I walked out of the bathroom back to the room to meet him watching the TV. "I'm done," I announced, fighting the urge not to glare at him.

"Good, I want to take a stroll around the pack and you are to follow me," he said more in a commanding tone.

I groaned mentally as we both left the quarter to begin his stroll. For some reason, my wolf was loving every moment. She enjoyed getting to spend time with Jake. We stopped by the Diva's room first. He knocked on the door once and it flung open immediately. I deduced from how quick she was to open the door that it wasn't the first time he was visiting her in the morning. She had a sweet smile on her face but it turned upside down on seeing me.

"I wanted to check up on you," Jake said as Diva continued to glare at me.

"Are your wounds from the beating all healed up by the mistress?" I asked, a hint of mockery in my voice
