Chapter nineteen

Anna POV

I heard a knock on the door and went to open it. It's probably Dave and his boss. 

I opened the door and was shocked to the bones. It was the same person! Adams and Dave's boss are the same person. How could it be? 

I could see that he wasn't as surprised as I was. He must have found out before I did. Or maybe he just knew all along. Perhaps that's why he has been helping I and my son. 

I'm so confused right now. I don't know what to do. 

I looked at my son's face and he seemed to have noticed my surprised reaction. 

I decided to pretend that nothing happened and also that I didn't know Dave's boss from anywhere. 

"Come in." I said as I widened the door. 

"Thank you." Adams said. 

I had already set the table so we all went straight to the dinning without wasting time. 

My seat was right in front of Mr Adams. I didn't plan it that way though. It was son who rush
