Katrina stood waiting while the receptionist talked to Eric on the phone. The receptionist disconnected the call and faced her.

"I'm sorry, but he said he doesn't want to see you, " she told Katrina.

"What! You are sure he heard my name right? " Katrina asked.

"Yes Miss. He repeated your name to confirm if it's really you" the receptionist said.

"I really need to see him. Please call him again, let me speak with him this time" Katrin pleaded.

Katrina felt sad and dejected. She walked to a seat and sat down burying her head in her hands.

After some minutes, the receptionist's phone rang and Katrina looked up to see her answer the call.

"Sir Eric" she called and Katrina became alert. She stood up quickly and walked over to her.

"Is she still there? " Katrina heard Eric ask through the phone.

"Yes Sir. She's right here, " the receptionist replied.
