Kiara’s POV

Accepting Brandon and Ryder’s proposal that night has been the best decision I have made in a while. Their love, their support, and their care were unending. I felt at peace with myself and with them. They both showered me with affection and gifts. They loved me out loud and I could not have wished for anything more. Most times I’m grateful to Eaton for his rejection. Because if he had not rejected me, I would not have met these ever-loving men.

Ryder brought up telling the elders about us. Although it hasn’t been up to a week since we all agreed to be together, Ryder was trying to make us public, and I guess Brandon was in support of it as well. But I knew better. I was anxious about this. Not because I want to hide our relationship from the pack, but because I knew the elders despised me. I knew the exact tone in which they spoke to me that night and it held no atom of love in it.

When Ryder and Brandon returned, I hugged them both as I had always done.

  • Rise of the rejected Luna    Wheels of misfortune

Ryder’s POV The meeting I had with the elders didn’t go as smoothly as I expected it to. The mention of Kiara’s name felt like a sore to their earbuds. They dismissed my proposal and condemned it when I mentioned that Brandon and I want to go public with her as our mate, and we are both happy with that decision. “What is this you speak of Alpha,” one of the elders said to me. “I know you rule us all, but this is an abominable act,” another raised his concern. “Never has this been heard of Alpha. Two powerful men, sharing one mate,” my mother’s friend Glinda who is among the elders spoke to me in a calm tone. “I have always known that girl is up to no good. This is just a cherry on the cake for me,” another elder spat. “I know all of your grievances, but this is what matters right now, not the rumors or anything,” I said to them. “This is how it is destined, She is my mate, and that of Brandon’s,” I added. “That is unacceptable and that is final,” one of the elders blur

  • Rise of the rejected Luna    Channel of affection

Kiara’s POV I felt complete being crushed between the bodies of Ryder and Brandon. Their hands felt perfect on my skin, their lips perfect on mine, and their bodies ideal for their purpose. I could both feel how hard they were. I knew what they wanted, so I reached down to where their desire coagulated and touched them through their pants. I listened to them groan together and that felt like music to my ears. I was about to reach Ryder’s zipper but he stopped me, and Brandon did the same. “Not right now sweetness,” Brandon said to me. “Tonight is about you—just you,” Ryder added. They wanted to satisfy me, they didn’t want any rush. So they took their time in exploring my body, with every curve, and every texture. They laid me down gently onto the bed of roses and stripped me of my white silk dress. I watched as they exchanged gazes between themselves. “You are so beautiful,” Ryder complimented me as Brandon’s lips latched onto my neck. His hands ran through my hair,

  • Rise of the rejected Luna    Bid of love

Brandon’s POVRyder and I made a pact to create the perfect night at the terrace for Kiara. It was the night we were to propose our decision to her. We made sure the terrace was decorated with flowers, little candle lights, and most importantly —gifts. It has been a long time since I gifted Kiara and I’m glad I had the opportunity to curate modern gifts for her as she wouldn’t just be seen as Kiara, but Kiara the mate to the Alpha and Beta of the pack. On the other hand, Ryder was nervous. He was bothered about Kiara accepting this. But I reassured him that this was exactly what she wanted and we were doing the right thing going on this journey with her. After dinner, Ryder and I departed for the terrace. We sat there waiting for her arrival as she thinks this is just a normal hangout like we used to. She has no idea that this was more than just talking, laughing, and sitting in silence. This night determined where we stand, how far she is willing to go for us, and her status is

  • Rise of the rejected Luna    Pact

Kiara’s POVThe atmosphere at the manor began to brighten up. There was less worry, fear, and malice. Brandon and Ryder were back to how they used to be. Bradon played a crucial role in the betterment of Ryder’s health as he helped in making sure he partook in his daily exercises and movement. Although a lot of people from the pack are outside ready to see their Alpha back on his feet, Hale and hearty, Brandon help manage them and reassure them that they’ll get to see Ryder soon. We all ate together, talked, and laughed with one another. Both Brandon and Ryder made me feel at ease. More like they didn’t consider me a maid anymore. I felt at ease in the Moonfren manor, not wanting to go out of its walls. I didn’t care about the rumors anymore and if anything, I was grateful for it happening. Now I’m here, with the people that make me happy without having to see the whole world, accepting me for who I am. It also became an activity of ours to meet up at the terrace, just like in ol

  • Rise of the rejected Luna    Alliance

Brandon’s POVThe attack on Ryder could have been avoided if only I didn’t let anger rule over my duties as his Beta. Now that the worst deed had been done, I took full responsibility for my shortcomings and I made a promise to find out who was responsible for these vile actions. My heart sank each passing minute on the fields and I knew something wasn’t right. I remembered that it was just Ryder and Kiara home—more reasons to be consumed by worry. “Go home,” I heard my wolf growl, and I didn’t think twice before stepping into my carriage. I was greeted with silence at first, as I stepped into the Manor. “Thank goodness they are good,” I said to myself with a breath of relief as I locked the door. I decided to head to the kitchen, so I could wash my hands and get some cold drink. Then there was a scream that ran through the walls of the Manor. I was disturbed by the scream I heard coming from upstairs. “Kiara!” I yelled as I made my way upstairs. On my way to Ryder’s room,
