I have a cast on my left leg and have to get used to walking with crutches. Riah thinks I deserve worse for spying on Niki for such a long time. She is starting to sound a lot like Owen these days.

Just like we expected, Lucas was used to blackmail Luca into killing Niki. The poor kid was terrified by the time Owen picked him up from the police station. His abductors picked him from his university at gunpoint, forced him to call Luca and kept him in the boot of a van. He had no idea where they were taking him. It seems that the plan was interrupted by a random road block by the feds, forcing his abductors to desert the van, leaving him in the boot. It was when the feds searched the van that they discovered him tied up in its boot.

This is, of course, what the feds are saying, but they lost my trust a long time ago. Lucas never saw the faces of his abductors. For all I know, the feds could have been the abductors and let him out when they thought Luca had done the jo
