Chapter 43: The Emperor

[Third-Person POV]

Somewhere in human territory.

As Arielle shared her past grievance with Isabella and the rest of the group, a dark figure with a ghost mask stared out the window facing the Werewolf Empire, or to be more precise, the Dagon Forest, with a gloomy aura.

"Dammit! Whoever you are that ruined the formation and killed all my underlings, I will find you to the ends of the earth and make you pay!" the person said in a sinister and deep voice as though it came from a cave.

"Curses! It took me years to gather that much energy from that location. That person even shattered the crimson ball. What a waste!" the person grumbled and clenched his fist.

However, there's nothing he could do at the moment but swallow his anger in silence. For now, he should focus on gathering more reinforcements to every location of the formations to prevent something like this from happening again. He can't afford to lose another formation, or all his painstaking efforts will go to waste.
