Ashes and Deceit

Audrey was exhausted returning into the room. She was surprised to see that Dawson was already fast asleep.

'He must have been stressed helping Kaidon and Alaric out'

She was rightly frustrated because they never got the chance to mark each other because of the problems they both had to face in the hands of Gracey.

Even though she still didn't trust Alaric, she was glad that he was by their side for the moment.

As she laid across the bed and snuggled close to him, Dawson wrapped his large arm around her and she smiled.

'It is only a matter of time my love'

She said and darkness overwhelmed her.

There were horses and chariots of men marching towards a war and they all had fire with them and were willing to unleash it anytime.

The men would attack after matching for a while and blood and cries filled everywhere, fire was burning all the houses available and young pups being killed like they were chicken.

Audrey woke up with sweats, scattered across her face. Dawson instantly was beside
