Chapter 38 Doubts

“Hush! Keep your voices down!” I spoke to my men with my lips tightly shut. “Especially you!” I sneered at Gab.

Gab raised his hands as if being arrested by the authorities after being caught red-handed at a crime scene. He has heard from the bodyguards standing outside my room about what happened the previous night.

“Why are we leaving too early?”

Gab asked in a hushed tone as we walked on the dimly lit hallway of the hotel to the main entrance where the ride was waiting. I was carrying a sleeping Skye in my arms, like a princess, while Naomi was behind us and walking with one of my bodyguards carrying a folded wheelchair.

It was only four in the morning, I only told my immediate bodyguards that I was going back home with Skye and my bodyguards, but Gab has heard about it and decided to disembark at the same time as us. He did not have to bother driving because he could have any one of our men sit behind the wheel and take him wherever he wanted to go.
