Chapter 58: Unrequited

We are shown to our room by one of Nikolai's men. He mentioned that Micah and I will be staying in the same room, which is a piece of news that had me jumping with joy. At the very least, I won’t be bored to death staring at the ceiling, or much worst, I’ll start talking to myself.

Nikolai seemed to have forgotten all about me since our arrival as both he and Akim went on to whatever business they had to do here in Italy. Since I don't have a phone, I have no idea what area of the nation we are in at the time. Nonetheless, the sights along the shore are breathtaking and captivating.

“Which one should I wear?” My train of thought was abruptly forced to a halt when Micah's voice rang out, and I turned my attention immediately to her. I raised both of my eyebrows as I looked at the swimsuits that she had brought up.

She held a red two-piece in her right hand and a yellow one-piece suit in the other. They were both beautiful, but I know she would still look absolutely stunning in
