The soft knock on Selena's room door caused her to roll a bit in bed. The fifth knock made her slowly opened her eyes.

She frowned a bit when her sight caused a glance at the calendar on the bed stand.

"Time is a scary thing. It has been three months already." Selena mumbled.

She sat up, threw the blanket off her, got out of bed, and when to open the door.

"Good morning, miss." A lady wearing maid clothes said.

"Oh, morning, Celine. What is it?" Selena asked.

"Well, doctor Jeff couldn't make it for your regular monthly check-up because he had to leave the country, so he sent another doctor, and he is awaiting you downstairs." 

"Okay. Tell the doc to give me some minutes to get dressed. I will be down with him shortly." 

Selena waited for Celine to leave before shutting the door.
