CHAPTER FORTY NINE

- KILLIAN -

"Are you really going to let him go?" Liam asks, standing behind me as Marino scurries out, limping. I want to kill him after everything I've heard. But I won't. Like I said before, I'll give him time to warn people.

I'll give him time to run. "No. Knowing him, he'd try to flee. Let him run. He can't hide." I groaned and lowered my gaze to my stomach. I need to retire to bed. But I have things to do. "Not with that body anyway." I said and sighed. I want Marino to spend his last twenty four hours with the dread that I'm just a blink away, waiting to end him.

My attention left the door and fell on the people chained to the ceiling.

I clench and unclench my fist, warming my hand up. They're next. I will enjoy this very much. Or not. I have somewhere to be. "Do you want to do the honour, Liam?"

A cackle slid in my ears as Liam laughed. "You have no idea how long I've been waiting to be asked that."
