Luca didn't respond. He remained glaring at Aiden. I just swallowed and held Luca's hand tightly, which was holding me. I'm nervous about Luca's look; it was as if he was killing Aiden in his mind.

"Do you even know this shady man, Crescent?" Aiden asked and looked at me. It was as if he had no intention of paying attention to Luca.
