JIMMY'S POV

I groaned as i looked at the alarm clock, the red numbers glowing 6:00 a.m. i couldn't believe it was already morning. I felt like i had just closed my eyes and now it was time to start the day.

Fuck! Of course, The memory of Kelvin's actions had lingered in my mind, making it hard to drift off to sleep. His words, his actions, they had all swirled together, keeping me awake.

I buried my head in my pillow, trying to will myself back to sleep. But it was no use. I was wide awake.

I threw the covers off and sat up, rubbing my eyes. I was not a morning person, and i knew i would be in for a long day. I only hoped i could make it through without too many disasters.

Talking of disasters!. I was going to cause one. Nothing was stopping. My thoughts were racing, and i knew exactly what i had to do to make Kelvin pay for the embarrassment he had caused me in front of my friends, and that girl.

I wanted to get even, to make him suffer like i had.

The idea of revenge consumed me, and i knew i had to act fast. I got to the bath and took a quick shower, then I got dressed quickly, pulling on jeans and a t-shirt. I grabbed two things; My wallet and keys and headed out the door, a look of determination on my face. I had a plan, and nothing was going to stop me from carrying it out.

As i walked by Kelvin's door, i couldn't help but smirk at the thought of what i was about to do. Kelvin had crossed his limits yesterday. Acting like a Hero, well who was going to save his ass from me.

I had never liked that jerk, and the feeling were mutual. We had been rivals for years, always trying to one-up each other. He always got a place in everyone’s heart. My grandmother and my father. They loved him, as if he was some precious kid.

He even got a position at father’s company, even without total qualifications. But me, well I must get my shit done through school before earning a name there. All that was bullshit!

Okay, it was times like this that I was glad my mother was always on my side. At least.

As i stepped outside, i noticed a figure standing in the yard, illuminated by the early morning light. I squinted, trying to make out who it was. As i got closer, I realized it was none other than.. That dowdy girl.

What the fuck!

I felt my stomach churned up with irritation. Had she come all the way to our house, to apologize to me?

Her appearance made my blood boil. She was wearing an outfit that was the epitome of bland. It was like she had gone out of her way to look as uninteresting as possible.

"Hey!" I yelled. My voice cold, boomed through the still morning air. She turned at the sound, her eyes wide with surprise. She looked at me, a question in her eyes. But i didn't give her a chance to speak.

"What the fuck are you doing here? You're not satisfied spying on me at school, you'd come to my house too" I demanded, my voice cold and unfriendly.

"This is a private property. I'm sure you didn’t get a scholarship here too" I added.

She blinked, taken aback by my hostile tone. "I'm sorry," she said, her voice trembling slightly. "I didn't mean to intrude." Her voice wavered as she spoke

Pathetic! She was always sorry. Fuck!

Her voice irked the shit in me. "Of course you never mean to do anything in your life. Everything always happens out of the blue. First you didn’t mean to spy on me, you didn’t mean to stand in my way, you didn’t even mean to get that scholarship!” I scoffed bitterly. "And now, you’re here but you didn’t even mean to huh?"

"Kelvin invited me to come over," she blurted out, her eyes downcast. "I know this is your family's property, and I would never have come without his permission."

I scoffed, my eyes narrowed. "You're joking," i said, my voice full of shock. "There's no way Kelvin would have invited you here. Why would he?." As i was about to continue my tirade, a voice broke the tense silence.

"Hey there, Kelly!" Kelvin said, approaching us with a smile on his face.

"I'm so sorry for the delay," Kelvin said, his voice sincere. "I should have come to meet you sooner. Please forgive me." He gave her a friendly smile, his eyes kind and understanding. "I'm glad you could make it."

Fuck! No way! None of this was happening, it wasn’t real. Kelvin wasn’t just going all out of his ways to challenge me right now. He was going to pay for it!

"It's okay Kelvin" she said, her voice still a little shaky. "I'm just glad you didn’t waste anymore time."

"I am happy to see you again." Kelvin said, his smile growing wider. "It's always great to have a friend over."

My face contorted with hatred as i watched the scene unfolded. I couldn't believe that Kelvin would associate himself with someone like her. She was so beneath him, so unworthy of his attention. I couldn't understand what Kelvin was up to, but he could just rot in hell.

The two began chatting away, completely oblivious to the fact that i was still standing there, just a few feet away. They spoke of me as if i wasn't even there, as if i was invisible. It was like a slap in the face, I was going beyond livid. They'd bonded so fast and their pathetic associations irked me. If looks could killed they’d both be six feet under right now.

My anger grew like a wildfire, burning everything in its path. Kelvin was making this girl feel comfortable and at ease when all that she deserved was feel small and insignificant.

Kelly or whatever she’s called, wasn't a thread, she wasn't my problem, I didn't care what happened to them both. They could both die or rather still, fall inlove for all I care. After all they were both pathetic. They would suit eachother.

What mattered now was what I had ahead of me. Give my psycho half-brother little taste of my hatred for him. Hatred that seemed to have been multiplying at this instant.

"What's your problem?" Kelvin asked all of a sudden, his voice hardening. He was looking at me, sure he was talking to me.

"I want your lunatic self out of my sight for good!" I sneered at him but my words could only be heard by me. I stalked off towards my car, my body tense with anger. I could feel the heat of Kelvin's gaze on my back, but i didn't care.

  • SHE'S MINE ALONE   CHAPTER 72: The wedding Night

KELVIN'S POV The night drew on, and the party continued at the mansion. The atmosphere was thick with music and people sipping on their drinks in every corner. I sat with my dad, surrounded by a sea of suits, all of whom had come to congratulate me on my marriage and, more importantly, my entry into the business world. My dad, beaming with pride, raised his glass. "To my son, Kelvin, and his beautiful bride, Kelly. May your union bring us all prosperity and success. And, of course, I'm proud to say that Kelvin has finally gotten his degree and is ready to join the business world properly." The businessmen around us chuckled and echoed the sentiment, offering their congratulations. I smiled, shaking hands and thanking them, but my mind was elsewhere. Where was she, my wife? She hadn't been anywhere insight since we left the church. I excused myself, standing up. "If you'll excuse me, I need to go find Kelly," I said, excusing myself from the group. As I made my way thr

  • SHE'S MINE ALONE   CHAPTER 71: "I DO"

KELLY'S POV Two months had passed since my father's release from prison, and everything had fallen into place. He'd been given back his company and house, and now I lived knowing I had a family. Anna had moved in with Beck's family after our graduation, and I'd moved in with Kelvin to his penthouse. Jimmy and I were in good terms now, and he'd had to accept that I was dating Kelvin. Interestingly, Jimmy had fallen for Debbie, who'd been there for him since his mother's imprisonment. Today, all the girls and I were at a beauty salon, getting pampered and prepped for the big day – my wedding. As the stylists did their magic, I couldn't help but feel grateful for the journey that had brought me to this moment. I couldn't wait to walk down the aisle and marry the love of my life. The thought of spending the rest of my life with Kelvin filled me with joy and happiness. "When are you and Dante tying the knot?" Debbie joked, winking at Ashley. Ashley laughed, a secretive sm

  • SHE'S MINE ALONE   CHAPTER 70: She never stopped loving me

JIMMY'S POV I walked into the prison, my heart heavy with emotions. It had been two days since everything went down, and I was still trying to process it all.I was led to the visiting room, and my mom was already there, waiting for me. She smiled, her eyes warm. "Jimmy, my son," she said, her voice soft. I took a deep breath, trying to calm myself, but it was no use. The anger, the hurt, the betrayal - it all came flooding back. The faint smile on her face was like a punch to the gut. How could she be smiling? Didn't she know what she had done? I sat down, trying to keep my emotions in check, but it was like trying to hold back a tidal wave. "Why, Mom?" I asked, my voice shaking with rage and hurt. "Why did you do it?"My mom's expression didn't change, her eyes still shining with a cold, calculating glare. "I did it for you, Jimmy. I wanted to give you the best life possible."The words were like a slap in the face. "The best life? You stole from Dad, from Kelvin's mom.

  • SHE'S MINE ALONE   CHAPTER 69 : The Final truth.

KELVIN'S POV I nodded to Becks and Kelly as we parted ways. "I'll join you guys in a minute," I said, slipping away to make my way to my room. "And Becks, thanks again. " I head to the room for a quick shower. The bruises on my face were starting to sting, and I wanted to look presentable for what was to come. I changed into a fresh suit then made my way to the party, receiving condolences from guests along the way. I nodded and smiled, but my mind was elsewhere. I took a seat, my eyes scanned the room, finally landing on Veronica. She was smiling and laughing with the guest, oblivious to the storm that was about to hit her. I stood up, my eyes locked on her. My father, seated beside me, placed a hand on my arm, his eyes questioning what I was about to do. I gave him a reassuring nod. The music stopped, and I stepped forward, my voice ringing out across the room. "Ladies and gentlemen, thank you for gathering here tonight to pay your respects to my mother. But I think it

  • SHE'S MINE ALONE   CHAPTER 68: Escape plan failed

KELLY'S POV I stepped out of the car, my heels clicking on the driveway as I took in the sight of the mansion. The atmosphere was already electric, with sleek cars and rich-looking people milling about. Anna smiled and took my arm, leading me inside. As we entered the grand hall, I couldn't shake off the feeling of unease. I pulled out my phone and tried Kelvin's line again, but it went straight to voicemail. "Hey, Kelvin, we Just arrived at the mansion. Where are you?" I said, trying to keep my voice light. Anna placed a reassuring hand on my shoulder. "Kelly, calm down. He told us he was on his way, just relax." But I couldn't shake off the feeling that something was off. I had tried calling him multiple times, and he wasn't answering. I felt a knot in my stomach, a sense of worry that I couldn't ignore. Just then, Kelvin's grandmother appeared, a warm smile on her face. She enveloped me in a hug, her perfume familiar and comforting. "Ah, Kelly, dear, so lovely to s

  • SHE'S MINE ALONE   CHAPTER 67: Sweet Payback

JIMMY'S POV I stood on the balcony, sipping my whiskey, watching the guests arrive at the Montego's mansion. The celebration of Kevin's mom's life was a farce, a show of wealth and status. Otherwise, why care so much about the deaths? I scoffed, my mind elsewhere. Kelly was on my mind, and my plan for Kelvin tonight. My mother joined me, her eyes scanning the crowd below. "How are you, Jimmy?" she asked, her voice concerned.I forced a smile. "I'm fine, Mom."She nodded, her eyes knowing. "I've planned something that will take care of Kevin, that'd eliminate him from the company. But not tonight."I raised an eyebrow, impressed. "Hmm, that's good news, Mom." I let out a mirthless smile knowing that deep down, Kevin's going down. My mother smiled, a cold glint in her eye. "Tonight, let's just enjoy the celebration. We'll deal with Kelvin another day."I nodded, my mind racing. Kelvin was going to pay, and it was going to hurt, I couldn't stop thinking of what I'd do to him
