The sun's beam raises humidity. The village slowly gains life, hustling in their own patch of land while Selena is still bundled in Zaden's duvet. He smiled at the view before changing his dress and going out for his usual run. Taking her own sweet time, Selena woke up and dragged her heavy feet to her room, took a bath, and got ready as usual.
She learned during breakfast that there will be a meeting in the communal room and her attendance is made compulsory. Makeala seemed very nice and informative, willing to help the newcomer. Selena also learned that she is the second beta, while Orion, her brother, is the beta of the pack or technically an advisor to the alpha. Her job is to be helpful to beta. Sitka and Xavier are deltas, they take care of territory and the ill one in the pack.

Zaden was pacing left and right in front of Grandpa Kai who has settled comfortably on a couch“I’m telling you. Thank god, I send the others away. I don’t think the boys would have had that much self-control in them” veins pulsing on his temple. With a mission in hand, Selena headed straight to her room. She slammed the chocolate bar on the table before pacing back and forth for a few minutes. Weighing her options. Determination took over her as she wrung her hand and feet, mentally prepared. She then locked the door and took off her dress. Wispy air that went unnoticed before tingled across her naked, exposed skin. Goosebumps prick along her upper arm. She slowly paced to the window but came to a stop when a single hum of a nightingale made her doubt her fake willpower. Before she could recover and push herself further, a knock on the door sends her into a trembling mess. Vigilance is the game plan today. To avoid being dumped into the bathtub again, Selena woke up early. In order to make the day much smoother and possibly laced with a bit of mercy from the Alpha, she made 2 sets of poached egg and bread toast. After scanning through the house looking for her, Zaden finally caught her shuffling in the kitchen.“Well, well, well…Look who is up? Clamours and mutters filled the house as both familiar and unfamiliar faces hustled and bustled around, preparing for the full moon. The need for it to be perfect etched in each of their faces. Not a speck of dust. No stain on the windows. No rugs or ornaments left in store. A she-wolf busting her ass to polish the silver wears while another tries to balance strawberries to be perfectly centered on the cupcake's icing. Zaden has announced it to be a special full moon and if so, they will tolerate no slips and slides. Paws thud through the forest floor. A cold breeze brawled against them as the beast in her hand sprinted through each tree in its way, kicking up a series of dried debris into the air. The wolf’s pants huffed in an upbeat rhythm. Despite all the commotion, Selena could only hear her heartbeat, drumming loud in her ears. Tears rolled down the corner of her eyes, swept away with the wind, as her body ached so much, and she is losing her strength to hold on. “Zaden…” she whispered. Her voice diffused in the whooshing wind but Zaden heard her with his wolf’s hearing ability. He pushed as much as he can. Her knuckles limp, grip loosening just in time for their destination.

A naughty grin bloomed on her lips. Tongue traced her upper teeth.“You are asking me how to turn her into a Samrat, how to activate her powers…and I don’t think a finger is worth that information, alpha Zaden” she rubbed her nose against his before climbing up the bank, walking a bit further and laid flat on the grass, legs bend and slightly apart for him to see. Sudden darkness took over him at her inviting view. He stormed out of the water and walked to her, kneeling down to eat her delicacy. His tongue lapped her, swirling around while her restrained scream and moan pushed him a little further– unraveling his solicitous, logical, and self-control regarding her welfare. “Did you do the homework?” Orion took charge of Selena’s stamina building. They were at the waterfall. Orion didn’t make her run as far as Zaden did. Instead, he focused on building the core muscle. A pair of red punching mitts on his hands, while Selena punched him with bare hands. She didn’t leave much of an impact, but she learns to read and anticipate a punch or attack. “Uh-huh…” Selena nodded in between her heavy breathing. Orion can see she was getting too rehearsed with punching mitt, too comfortable with the training.
