LOGINElian's fingers drummed on the table repeatedly as Marie, his personal assistant, ran through the details of the ongoing shipment of weapons which seemed to be at stake at the moment. But Elian didn't hear anything Marie was saying, all her words were flying over his head as he kept staring at the screen of his phone that was on the table in front of him. It was almost as if he was expecting something.
Well, that's because he was. And amidst all that, he mind kept replaying their wedding night fiasco. The way Dex's hand wrapped around his slender neck, the pressure, the heat, and most certainly, the way he breathed against his skin. Elian had always known there was something between him and Dex, but he'd always refused to acknowledge it and covered it with a font named hate. And he was sure Dex did the same. “Elian.” “Hmm” he responded automatically, finally looking at Marie who was standing across the table, giving him a stare. He gave her a tight lipped smile and leaned back in his seat. “Sorry, I'm listening.” “No you were not.” Marie said with a shake of her head and continued to read out from the pad. “The shipment from Marseille arrived early this morning. There were minor delays at the port, but everything has been cleared. Though the men you assigned to oversee the eastern district reported increased suspicious activity, I'm yet to get the final feedback. And there’s also the matter of the Rinaldi contract. They’re requesting a meeting by the end of the-” Elian's phone, which was resting on the table, pinged suddenly and Elian has never moved so fast in his life. Okay, maybe he has, but that's not the point. The point was the fact that he secretly tagged Dex's suit that morning before they both went their separate ways. For no reason, Elian found himself wanting to know every ground Dex set his feet on, where he was going, and most especially, what he was doing there. And the tracker he put on Damian was meant to notify him whenever he went out of district. Though the subtle smirk on his face immediately dropped to a deep frown when he saw the location Dex was currently at. His eyes scanned the screen again, as if making sure he read it correctly. Velvet Sin. A soft laugh bubbled in his chest. “Oh you've got to be fucking kidding me.” He gritted out and stood up abruptly, alarming Marie. The chair scraped against the polished floor and he grabbed his blazer, put it on and marched straight to the door, phone still gripped tightly in his hand. “Elian-” Marie called, quickly following after him. “Where are you going? We still have-” “To a Gay Club.” He replied calmly as he walked out of the office, heading straight to the elevator. “My husband seems to think he can do whatever the fuck he wants despite being married. And I am on my way to show him he can't.” Marie blinked, confused. “Should I be….. worried?” She asked unsurely. Elian walked into the elevator and turned to look at Marie, who had stopped outside. The smile that slowly crept to his lips sent a chill straight down her spine. “Very.” He said as the elevator doors slowly closed in their faces. —————— Elian strutted into the slightly filled club. His feline eyes scanned the crowd slowly, then he followed the furiously blinking dot on his screen, which led him to an enclosed door in the private sector. He didn't knock. Because why would he? It was no fun. So he kicked the door open instead. The first thing Elian saw burned itself into his mind instantly. Dex was sitting very comfortably on the leather sofa. His shirt was unbuttoned and a lean, half naked boy sprawled across his lap like a blanket. The boy was whispering into Dex's ear, hands sliding on his thigh dangerously close to his crotch. Elian's vision tinted red, and without a word, he raised his glock and pointed it at the back of the boy's head. Dex's eyes met his from across the room and his eyes widened in shock at the gun pointed towards them. Dex reacted with a terrifying speed of light and grabbed the boy, shoved him violently off his lap just as Elian pulled the trigger. The bullets missed the boy's head by an inch, shattering the crystal decanter of the bourbon behind the sofa. The boy screamed and frantically tried to get away, but Elian wasn't stopping, he kept firing again and again and again. The shots were messy and wild, destroying the room as the terrified boy scrambled towards the exit. “That's it, run you fucking bitch! I'll fucking kill you and carve your heart out!” He never got the chance to. Because, before Elian could re-aim, Dex slammed into his back and wrapped an arm around him like an iron band while the other grabbed Elian's wrist, twisting it with a brutal force and the gun clattered to the ground. “Let me go! Let me go, you son of a bitch!” Elian screamed and jerked violently. He dug his feet to the floor and tried to throw Dex off. He watched in anger as the door clicked shut behind the boy and the failure made him even more feral. “You need to calm the fuck down, Elian.” Dex hissed into his ear. “I need to calm down??” Elian asked, scoffing hysterically. He twisted his head and tried to bite Dex's shoulder. “You're the one fucking around not even 24 hours after our wedding. You fucking whore!” “I wasn't fucking him.” Dex growled, tightening his hold around Elian. “He was just giving me a lap dance. Did you really think I'd settle for a stray like that when I have a psychotic viper waiting for me at home?” Liar. Dex leaned closer into him, his voice dropped to a low, mocking tone. “You think you're so clever with your little toys don't you?” He said and Elian froze in his arms. “Did you really think I wouldn't notice a GPS tag in my suit? I knew you were watching every moment I made the moment I left the house.” He chuckled. The realization that he's been played and lured here, right into Dex's sick trap felt like a slap. “I wanted to see if you'd come.” Dex said, a smirk very obvious in his tone. “I wanted to see how long it would take you to start following me around like a bitch in heat. And look at you, I've got you right where I want you, right under my control.” The word 'control’ snapped something inside Elian. With a surge of sudden anger and strength, he slammed his elbow into Dex's ribs and his grip loosened enough for Elian to twist himself free and grabbed his gun from the floor and bolted towards the door. “I'm gonna kill that bitch, just fucking watch me!” He didn't even take two steps before Dex grabbed him again and hurled him to the sofa, pinning him down with his weight. The impact knocked the wind out of Elian as Dex used his full body weight to pin him down, his hands pinning Elian's hands above his head. “Look at you.” Dex sneered, his face barely inches away from Elian's face. “The big bad virelli heir, behaving like a desperate, possessive little wife. You claim to hate me but you can't even handle another man touching me for five minutes.” Dex's eyes were filled with triumph, his ego was feeding on Elian's undeniable miserableness. “You're so fucking pathetic. Just admit it, you're addicted to me.” Elian didn't argue. He just simply narrowed his eyes, pulled his head back and slammed his forehead into the bridge of Dex's nose with a sickening crack. Dex grunted at the pain, throwing his head to the back and stumbling to his feet. His hand immediately flew to his face and when he pulled them away, blood coated his fingers. Dex stood there for a second in shock. Then he wiped his nose with his hand and slowly looked up to meet Elian's heated gaze. Instead of rage, a wild, sickenly twisted grin spread across Dex's face. He looked like a man who had just hit the jackpot. “That's it.” Dex whispered, voice thick with dark delight. “There's my husband.”Dex drummed his fingers slowly on the polished surface of the conference table, barely paying attention to the presentation Elena was giving. She stood by the board across from him, with perfect posture, her tablet in hand as she read through a list of upcoming deals and logistics in a flat, monotone voice. Her tone was professional and almost robotic, as always, but Dex could feel the distance between them like a wall. They hadn’t been back to their old ways since the incident. She was still acting strangely distant, quieter than usual, avoiding eye contact, speaking only when necessary. He hadn’t confronted her about setting up the meeting with Julian yet. He was saving that for the right moment, letting the tension simmer. He knew she was waiting for him to bring it up, which kept her on edge. And honestly, that small bit of control felt good amid the chaos. But none of that really bothered him right now. What truly gnawed at him was Elian. True, Elian had come back to the pen
Julian tried to keep his face neutral, even as the ropes dug into his wrists and the single bulb above his head made his eyes sting. He wasn’t going to give Elian the satisfaction of seeing fear. At least not yet, cause he wasn't going to lie, he didn't know what Elian had in store for him and he didn't know how long he was going to last. He shrugged as best as he could in his tied-up position. “I don’t know,” he said, voice steady. “How about you tell me what you’re going to do with me?”The words barely left his mouth before Elian’s fist slammed into the side of his face.Julian’s head snapped to the side with a sharp crack. Pain exploded across his cheekbone and he groaned, tasting blood in his mouth as he tried to catch his breath. Before he could recover, Elian grabbed his jaw forcefully, yanking his face back around so they were eye to eye.“You’re such a pathetic piece of garbage, you know that?” Elian sneered. His fingers dug into Julian’s jaw hard enough to bruise.Julian me
“Boss, he hasn’t come out yet. There's still no sight of him.”The voice crackled through the small earpiece Julian had in his right ear. He sat in the driver’s seat of his black SUV, parked in a shady corner across the street from the nondescript building. The evening sun was starting to dip lower, casting long shadows over the quiet street. But all that didn't move Julian the slightest bit, he had been sitting here for hours, fingers tapping impatiently on the steering wheel. He pressed the button on the small device and spoke into it with a low voice. “What about the front and back exits? Are they covered?”“Yes, sir,” the man on the other end replied quickly. “We have eyes on both. Two men on the front, three on the back. But there's still movement, so we believe he’s still inside.”Julian leaned back in his seat, clenching his jaw tightly. His eyes narrowed as he stared at the building through the tinted windows. Four hours. It had been almost four hours since Elian walked in t
Unbeknownst to Dex, who's ex and PA were busy doing something crazy and utterly stupid behind his back, he paced back and forth across the living room of the penthouse, the city lights glittering through the floor-to-ceiling windows behind him. His mind was raging, full of thoughts that refused to go, most especially Elian. Ever since he had thrown the word “divorce” at him like a grenade, Dex had not been himself. All day the word has been repeating in his head like a mantra. Divorce, divorce, divorce, divorce, divorce… Divorce??Why the fuck would Elian even think of that in the first place? He couldn’t let Elian leave. Not when everything he had been planning depended on Elian staying tied to him. He believed Elian didn't know the dangers of him deciding to separate, maybe that was why he was looking for the contract…But then Elian had said he didn’t want the divorce anymore… because Julian was back in the picture. The thought made Dex’s blood boil with a sick mix of jealousy and
Elena stood outside the sleek apartment door, arms wrapped tightly around herself as she glanced over her shoulder one more time. She raised her hand and knocked sharply on the door. And a few seconds later, the door opened. Julian stood there, shirtless, a cigarette hanging lazily between his lips. His sandy blond hair was slightly messy, and the low lighting highlighted the defined lines of his chest and shoulders. He looked completely at ease, unlike Elena who looked like she was going to burst out of nervousness. “Took you long enough,” Julian said, voice low and slightly amused. “I’ve been expecting you all day.” He turned and walked back inside, leaving the door open for her. Elena rolled her eyes and stepped in, closing the door behind her. “Took you longer. I’ve been standing out here freezing my ass off waiting for you to open the damn door.” Julian didn’t reply. He just took a slow drag from the cigarette and dropped onto the couch, legs spread casually. Elena stood
Dex stormed after Elian down the hallway, his longer strides eating up the distance between them.“Elian!” he called. “Elian, stop!”Elian didn’t not stop, he didn't even slow down, he kept walking, black boots echoing sharply against the floor.Dex cursed under his breath and sped up. “Elian, damn it, talk to me!”He reached out and grabbed Elian’s arm just as they turned the corner into Dex’s private office. Elian tried to yank away, but Dex held firm and pulled him inside, shutting the door behind them with a loud click. The moment the door closed behind them, Dex slammed Elian against it, pushing against him and standing his face, breathing hard.Elian glared at him hard. “Move.”“You just got back here, after disappearing for days, now you're leaving again to God knows where? Where the hell are you going?” Dex demanded. “Instead of answering the question, Elian only asked bluntly. “Where are the files?”Dex blinked, caught off guard. “What files?”Elian’s eyes were cold and irri
The Grand suite was quiet except for the sound of running water… and low hums of pleasure. They had been at it since morning, rough and angry at first, then a little less after Dex had made sure to to let Elian know who he truly belonged to. Elian’s body was sore, covered in bites and fingerprints
Dex stood a few feet away, watching the entire thing with dark, burning eyes, his jaw clenched so hard it hurt. The jealousy hit him like a punch to the gut, seeing Elian smile like that, run to another man and light up so easily, made something ugly and violent twist inside him. Elena stopped be
It was well past midnight. The lights in the restaurant were dimmed to a warm, golden glow. Soft jazz played faintly in the background. Expensive wine and plates of delicacies sat in front of them on the table set for two. They were in one of Dex's most exclusive Italian restaurant. The doctor’s v
Three hours earlier When Dex entered Jacob Virelli’s private office, the old man was already waiting for him, seated behind his massive desk like a king on a throne, a glass of aged wine in his hand. Jacob didn’t look surprised to see him. If anything, a faint, calculating smile played on his wri
