Chapter 25 - Artificial Breasts

After God knows how long, he still wasn’t here. I woke up from my nap but he’s nowhere in sight. It is already past midnight.

A little worried, I wriggle myself into the wheelchair and make my way to his office, finding it’s still closed. I knock on the door, “Kayden, are you inside?”

There was no answer, not even a sound. He’s so stubborn. But I get an idea as I look at my leg. “Kayden….my …. My leg hurts. Where’s the doctor?”

I a moment, the door opens, revealing Kayden who has his eyes narrowed as he asses me. “Your leg hurts?”

I quickly hold onto my thigh, “Yes, it suddenly started hurting really bad.”

Kayden squats down in front of me. I was wearing shorts and the bandages were covering the wound on my thigh. It didn’t look like anything was wrong. But I have to carry out this lie now.

He reaches out his hand and presses my thigh. “Does it hurt here?”
