I hadn't put up a resistance when he held his hand out for it. By the time we made it back, I was grateful for it, actually, because I was starting to feel sore, and that part was not fun. Also, I’d put my panties back on, and they were wet from the stuff dripping out of me. I wanted to get to a bathroom and have a very thorough shower.

Sex was, apparently, as amazing as it was messy.

Dan noticed when I limped up the steps to unlock the hotel door, and he caught me by the arm.

“Are you okay?” he asked, looking at me with brow furrowed in concern. “Do you hurt anywhere?”

I shook my head, giving him an uncomfortable smile. “No. I think I just need to sit down a bit.”

It would have been simpler if we’d just used a bed, or heck, the couch in the lobby, as awkward as that would have been for me. I thought that, but I didn’t say it.

His expression turned apologetic. “I’m sorry,” he murmured. “If I’d known it was your first time, I would have been more careful.”
