The king’s assertion

"What the hell happened?!" King Spencer growled, raucously.

His darkened eyes were on Amelia who was lifeless in the pool, yet his face was deserted and none knew what was blathering on in his mind.

Zachary immediately dived into the pool, he paddled quickly to the drowned lady as he struggled to pull her out and a few guards arrived at the spot to assist him.

"My king, Eleanor intently pushed the mistress into the pool!" Katrina hurriedly told, and King Spencer faced her.

"I don't remember asking you, Katrina," he coldly retorted at her, and she slowly lowered her head in embarrassment.

Meanwhile, Eleanor was quivering and trembling in anxiety, will the king ever spare her even if she tells him the whole truth?
