Vinn began to open his eyes and was welcomed by the spring of warm water gliding across his skin. So warm and so soothing that he shivered and muttered words of careless comfortability.Comfort. Too much comfort. The scent of the one who had tormented him returned to the room. And it resumed its undercurrents of delicious torture. Then, he felt her presence nearing again through the haze of magical things. When, he looked around through the blur, there were white butterflies and golden lights and heavy mist. Enchantment. And then...a beautiful lady. Vinncero instantly recognized her. And he couldn't believe his eyes. She was fully unclothed, exposing soft rounded breasts and such a beautiful, curvy body that sent him hardening in all the right places. But still, Vinncero couldn't take his eyes off her face. Full, rosy lips. A very soft, heart-shaped face. Glowing green eyes and such pristine, blonde hair with a small, fallen braid snaking around her smooth collarbone. Even when

Melira straightened, glancing at him with cool detachment. “Standard procedure, my lord. Guards patrol in shifts. Nothing unusual.”He let silence linger, his eyes narrowing. He opened the door and led Melira in.“And who supervises the grounds directly?”“A junior steward I appointed,” she answered without hesitation. He went to a small table at a far end and picked up a lighter and cigarette, his voice almost a whisper. “You arrived quickly.”Her eyes flickered but held steady. “I heard the commotion.”“Before the second snake appeared,” he murmured. Her lips pressed into a thin line. His gaze lingered, measuring, calculating. He didn’t accuse. Not yet. But a seed of suspicion had taken root.He stood, silent for a moment, then turned. “That will be all."********Downstairs, in the cool shade of the stables, Ethel led Aeryl past the rows of hay and harnessed steeds. Ariana’s eyes glimmered with mischief.“Look.” Her mother said, motioning to a familiar brown donkey.Aeryl froze. H

Some birds scattered from a tree nearby, startled."Mother!" Lilah and Aeryl cried, slapping their hands to their faces as they laughed along with everyone. Ariana sat backmdown and boasted about how she could finish off thousands of assailants with the tip of an open umbrella. She then went ahead to tell the story of something similar that had happened when she was pregnant with Aeryl. Aeryl became the subject of interest. As the tale continued, Aeryl’s mind slipped off and she remembered that princess from that day. The kind one who had helped

Ariana looked relieved as she stepped back. At same time, she was skeptical. "Aeryl, please....""Relax, mother. I hear you and I'd never break your heart."Ariana smiled. "Rest well, child. You are stronger than you think.""Thanks, mother."She stood up to leave and Ariana quickly caught her arm."And also, Aeryl. Will you like to join Princess Calista, the maids and I for the evening? I have a surprise for you.""Of course, mother. I'll tell Aramisius first."Ariana laughed and wiped her remaining tears, watching Aeryl leave. She couldn't help feeling suspicious. But deep down, Aeryl felt a deep pit open in her heart as she realized she was only lying to her poor mother.********Aeryl sat, her shoulders squared and her visage very intense as she wrote a letter to Aramisius."“Lord Aramisius,I write to inform you that I shall be joining Princess Calista, my mother, and the maids this evening, as you requested I notify you of my movements.Princess Aeryl Frankfurt."She rang for

Aeryl didn't waiver as she held his gaze, undauntedly. Her fists clenched for so many reasons. She felt heat, humiliation and anger but still, beneath it all, she felt a strong pang of excitement. A strong need to be claimed. To be claimed by the darkly, beautiful man who sat opposite her.She hated that he spoke of their joining with such certainty and authority that made her ache. But at the same time, she hated how her pulse continued to throb heavily after he said MARKED AS MINE."Oh, how fortunate!" Princess Melira started again, voice made of mock excitement. "The little werewolf princess secures quite a powerful mate....""Enough, Melira!" The electric growl of Aramisius’ Alpha voice boomed that even Princess Melira flinched.Aeryl couldn't hold it any longer and she spoke, trying to calm down."I am not aware of your decisions." "Princess Aeryl, we both have a lot to argue about. Not here."Princess Melira left early and Aeryl wished she could go along. ********Aeryl stoo

He bowed slightly to Ariana. “Lady Ariana Frankfurt. Theartera welcomes you.”His voice was warm, controlled and respectful. Ariana looked relieved.“You have shown my daughter great care, my lord,” she said.Aramisius glances at Aeryl. Only for a second.“She has been… challenging,” he said evenly. “But she is safe.”Her father finally looked up, wearily then at Aramisius.Aeryl noticed and that made her feel hurt more than anything. There was a lot of chattering as they made their way to the massive dining hall.********Aramisius brought out Ariana's seat and Aeryl had her first surprise. The air was very light at the table. Santos and Lilah sat on either sides of Aeryl. Aramisius sat beside her mom, opposite herself.Aeryl tried to not mind. So, she blended in with small jokes. When others made jokes, Aramisius would react with a wane smile. But whenever Aeryl said anything funny, he'd immediately frown so much that his brows would seem on the verge of puckering off.A noble cou
