LindseyI woke to the sound of my alarm blaring, but I couldn’t move my arms or any body part for that matter. I started to wiggle trying not to panic about being trapped. I tried to roll to my other side to figure out what was holding me down, but the weight just got heavier. Reece “You have got to be kidding me!” I say as quietly as my anger will allow. Thank you to everyone who has followed the journey. The last two weeks have been family focused and I will have the next chapter up by the end of the week. Thank you for sticking with me through this process. As a new writer who joined in the midst of covid to try something new to occupy my ADHD, I never really understood how the process of writing really worked. To all authors reading, I appreciate all of the work and long hours you put into your writing. I have been inspired by so many of you and I have a new appreciation for what goes into creating a story worth reading.

Lindsey When we arrive, the first thing that hits me is the sheer size of the event. People are everywhere. The line of limos seems almost endless. I was not new to this world, but I never enjoyed it so I avoided events like these. My grandmother never forced me to attend and Ralph was always at these functions for our company.
