Jay froze for that moment as he didn't know what to say to that.

He knew that what Ved was saying was right but he was afraid that this revelation may have some effect on Mayra's life. He was afraid that she might take some drastic steps to keep Ved safe or this would affect their friendship.

He didn't wanna lose her at all. Not even as a friend.

"I think you are living in a world with fairies!" Jay replied composing himself by the trace of horrors in his thoughts.

He wanted to sound calm and sarcastic but his voice came out a little softer making Ved sure about his words.

"I won't tell her..." Ved assured to make Jay come out of his shell.

Ved has bottled up his emotions all his life and knows what Jay must be feeling. He wasn't able to show his feelings for Mayra and all this while he was trying to get Ved and Mayra together for her happiness.

Only love can make one this selfless.

Jay's mouth hung open at Ved's confidence.
