Chapter 13 (Emotional Turbulence)

Ralph’s POV

"I feel bored, let's go shop for a car," Athena suggested to her servant.

She's conspicuously avoiding me, emitting joy lately, dressing in exquisite attire, immersed in books, all funded by my money.

Money aside, her new character annoys me. I'm uninterested in her, however, I want her presence. 

Perhaps an error on my part for how I've treated her, she aimed to be lovely but I pushed her away. Apologies are warranted, but my ego resists. I couldn't bring myself to think of that. 

I hate that I'm getting bothered by her. I can't seem to focus on my work or anything around me.

“Drop the ego,” Conri, my wolf, interrupted.

“What?”

“You're restless.”
