Chapter 17 : I want to sin with you

*Lexie’s POV*

Noland's imposing figure fills the doorway of his study room, his deep blue eyes flickering with a mix of irritation and surprise as he observes us both waiting for him. I can't help but feel my heart skip a beat as he steps into the room, a powerful energy emanating from him. Natasha is furious, her voice shrill as she demands to know why his security had kicked out her friends last night.

"Natasha, I didn't even know there was a party going on," Noland says with a calm that does little to soothe her anger.

"Really, Dad? You just happened to have your security team kick everyone out at the exact same time you arrived back in town?" Natasha spits out, her statuesque frame trembling with indignation.
