The maid, seeing that the tonic bowl was slowly cooling down, was afraid that Gemma would use it as an excuse to refuse to drink it, she continued to comfort her, "I understand your suffering, but things will only get worse if this continues. Mr. Thompson cares about you, why do you always refuse him?"

Gemma found the maid's words ridiculous, just now the maid herself said that they understood her pain, and saw bad things happen to her but now they were 'questioning' why Why would you turn down someone who killed your father?

These guys don't have anyone who understands her pain. "Get out, I want to be alone." Gemma didn't want to listen to any of their words anymore, their words only made her feel like a clown making a fuss sum everything up.

The maids looked at each other, they didn't dare leave without seeing Gemma finish the potion with their own eyes, but they couldn't force her as Jethro did.

Gemma frowned because they wouldn't leave and stared at her. "What else?
