Third person's POV

"Daddy, please don't make this into something bigger than it needs to be," Avery pleaded as Mr. Maddox sat frozen behind the steering wheel, his mind processing the shocking revelations and trying to reconcile his moral beliefs with his daughter's apparent behavior.

One thing he was thinking is that: Did Avery ever watch those videos before it gets to public or did she allow it to get out to ruin both Maddox's and Sinclair's family's name?

The silence between them stretched taut as piano wire.

While still looking at her father. She released heavy breaths.

"You know what's funny about families like ours, Daddy?" she said finally, her voice carrying that particular flatness she'd perfected over years of corporate meetings and family disasters. The words emerged carefully controlled, but underneath lay an edge sharp enough to cut glass.

Mr. Maddox's knuckles had gone white against the steering wheel, his wedding ring catching the light as his hands trembled almost i

Third person's POV The police station smelled like old coffee and broken dreams. The fluorescent lights buzzed overhead, casting everything in a sickly yellow glow that made everyone look like they were dying. Avery sat in the back of the patrol car, her wrists still cuffed, watching through the window as her father paced outside like a caged animal. When they brought her inside, the booking officer looked up from his paperwork with the tired eyes of a man who had processed a thousand rich kids having their first real taste of consequences."Name?" Officer Martinez asked, his pen hovering over the form."Avery Maddox," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. The name that had once opened doors now felt like a weight around her neck."Age?""Twenty-four.""Occupation?"She paused. What was her occupation, really? Living off her father's money? Playing corporate games? Watching her brother's private videos? "Executive," she finally said.Officer Martinez looked at her over his rea

Third person's POV Jefferson's smile was thin and cold. "I knew about a lot of things before they went public, Richard. The question you should be asking yourself is what other surprises might be coming. I mean your daughter's pregnancy, I meant Mrs Sinclair's pregnancy isn't public and her belly is growing bigger day by day. I just want to know one thing, why?"Mr. Richard stared at Avery then at Jefferson: "Astor Sinclair and I made that decision because not every one of her daily life should be on the social media. Some of us still have the decent life we wanted.""Sorry.. sorry, Mr. Maddox by decency, you meant Miss Sinclair is really that decent?" Mr. Jefferson asked. "Are you crazy? What do you mean by all your accusations of ruining my name? I think I should really file a defamation case today." Avery replied, with anger flowing across her face. "Sorry. Ah, you know someone like us might not be able to fight powerful people like you. But actually that is not what I heard ov

Third person's POV The Mercedes pulled into the executive parking space with the precision of a man who had been making that exact maneuver for over two decades. Richard Maddox sat behind the wheel for a moment, staring at the gleaming corporate tower that bore his family name in gold letters across the facade. Despite the federal investigation circling him like vultures, despite the lawyers and accountants dissecting every transaction he'd made in the past five years, his entry access card still worked. Some privileges of power died hard. The marble lobby echoed with his footsteps as he strode toward the executive elevators, his jaw set with the determination of a man who had built an empire through sheer force of will. The security guards nodded respectfully, though he caught the whispered conversations that stopped abruptly when they noticed his presence. Everyone knew about the investigation. Everyone was waiting to see if the patriarch of the Maddox empire would fall. The el

Third person's POV Liam stared at the screen, watching the images of Jackson being escorted by security guards while his father stood in the background like an avenging demon. The headline screamed across the top: "CORPORATE SHOWDOWN: Maddox Executive Forcibly Removed from Sinclair Building.""Damn, babe, you really made a mess there," Liam said, his voice carrying a mixture of admiration and concern as he handed the phone back to Janet.Jackson wrapped his arms around Liam from behind, pulling him close despite the paint stains on both their clothes. "Anything for you, babe," he murmured into Liam's ear, his breath warm against his neck."What really happened? You have got to tell me everything," Liam insisted, turning in Jackson's embrace to face him directly. The afternoon light filtering through the hotel room's windows cast shadows across Jackson's face, highlighting the tension that lingered around his eyes despite his casual demeanor.Jackson glanced at Janet, who was pretend

Third person's POV The hallway outside Avery's office felt like a battlefield waiting to explode. Jackson kept his hand extended toward Astor Sinclair, that infuriating smile never leaving his face as the older man's fury radiated outward like heat from a furnace."I said get out," Astor repeated, his voice dropping to a dangerous whisper that somehow carried more threat than any shout could have managed.Jackson finally lowered his hand but didn't move from his position. "You know, Mr. Sinclair, I have to admire your consistency. First you disown your own son, now you're trying to throw me out of a company I've done nothing but helped with. Tell me, how did it feel? Cutting Liam loose like that?"Astor's jaw clenched so tight that Jackson could hear his teeth grinding together. "You don't know what you're talking about, boy.""Boy?" Jackson laughed, the sound echoing off the marble walls. "That's rich, coming from a man who couldn't even face his son's truth. What was it that reall
