KAEL’S POV

Markus moves forward, passing Alpha Ronan and his warriors towards the stairs leading to the park house I assume. His steps faltered. His chest heaved. His eyes widened as though he’d been struck by lightning, “mate,” he whispered again, so softly I thought I’d misheard him.

“Markus!” I snapped, but he didn’t hear me or couldn’t. His wolf had seized control, pulling him forward with raw instinct.

Across the courtyard, a young woman had frozen mid-step on the packhouse stairs. Her scent lingered in the atmosphere, sharp, alive, and rolled across us in the night air. I smelled it too, the unmistakable mark of the bond, but it was Markus who was undone by it. His entire body trembled as he skidded to a halt before her.

Her wide eyes mirrored his. And in that instant, I knew.

Alina.

Ronan’s sister.

The Moon had bound her to my Beta.

I cursed under my breath. Of all the fates… why this one?

Markus’s voice was raw, reverent. “You’re mine.” He has shifted back to his h

Kael’s POVThe bond throbbed inside my chest like a wound that wouldn’t close. Serena was moving. I could feel her, her hesitation, her exhaustion, her stubborn determination to keep going. Each flicker of her emotions cut into me like a blade. For nights I hadn’t slept. The council’s warnings, the whispers of war, Nyra’s betrayal, none of it mattered. All I could hear was her heartbeat pulling me across the land, closer and closer, yet never close enough.Markus rode beside me, silent as the wind. His eyes seemed lifeless, his jaw tight, every line of him carved from pain. He hadn’t spoken much since Moonlight Pack. He carried himself like a warrior, but I knew his soul was bleeding. Alina, his mate, was locked behind her brother’s walls. And my Beta, the one who always steadied me, was breaking piece by piece.I tried not to look at him too long. His grief was too familiar. We searched every border village, every rogue den. The trail was always cold, as if the shadows themselves had

  • THE ALPHA FIERCE LUNA   CHAPTER TWENTY

The forest stretched endlessly, a labyrinth of whispering trees and silver mist. I’d grown used to its shadows, to the hum of the Hollow’s runes beneath my skin. But when I told Lucian I wanted to see where he came from, he studied me for a long moment, as if weighing my heart on some invisible scale. “Follow me,” he said at last. The path wound deeper than I thought possible, past ridges veined with crystal and streams that glowed faintly under moonlight. Hours passed, yet Lucian’s stride never faltered. His cloak of shadows seemed to guide him, parting the night around us. Finally, the forest broke. Before me lay a hidden valley, tucked beneath jagged cliffs and draped in soft mist. Homes carved from stone and wood dotted the landscape, their windows glowing warmly. Lanterns hung from branches, casting gold light that reflected off silver streams weaving through the ground. I froze, breath caught in my chest. It was… beautiful. “This is my sanctuary,” Lucian said quietly. “The

The Hollow was merciless. Every day, the stones pulsed with a rhythm that made my skin prickle, stirring the power inside me like a restless tide. At first, I’d fought it, terrified of losing myself in the visions that always came with it. But Lucian refused to let me run. “Sit,” he ordered, pointing to the center stone. I sank onto the cold surface, the runes beneath me glowing faintly with silver fire. My pulse quickened. “It’ll happen again,” I whispered. “The visions..” “Then let them happen,” he cut in, his crimson eyes narrowing. “The only reason they break you is because you fight them. You need to learn to stay awake inside them. To see without being swallowed.” My stomach knotted. The last time, I nearly drowned in that river of blood. I still tasted its metallic burn in my dreams. But I closed my eyes anyway. The Hollow answered at once. Light surged through me, a violent flood, and the world dissolved. I was back in the vision. The same river of blood. The same whisp

  • THE ALPHA FIERCE LUNA   CHAPTER EIGHTEEN

Serena’s POV The deeper we walked into the forest, the more the air changed. The night sounds, the rustling of leaves, the distant calls of owls fell silent, swallowed by something heavier. The ground beneath my bare feet was damp, spongy, as though the earth itself was holding its breath. Lucian moved ahead with unhurried steps, his dark cloak trailing behind him like liquid shadow. He hadn’t spoken since we left the clearing, and the silence pressed down on me until it felt like a weight on my chest. Finally, I couldn’t hold it in anymore. “Where are you taking me?” His crimson gaze flicked back at me, sharp and unreadable. “To a place older than kings. If you survive it, you’ll come out stronger. If you don’t…” He didn’t finish, just turned away, and kept walking. A chill spread through me, but my wolf stirred, restless and alert. Somehow, I knew Lucian wasn’t exaggerating. Whatever lay ahead wasn’t just another lesson. We broke through a wall of dense undergrowth into a clea

The firelight flickered low in the small clearing, shadows dancing across Lucian’s sharp features. He sat opposite me, cloak draped over his shoulders, his crimson eyes glowing faintly in the dark like embers refusing to die out. For hours, he had driven me through merciless drills, and yet it wasn’t my aching body that kept me restless, it was the question clawing at me. Finally, I couldn’t hold it in anymore. “Who are you?” Lucian didn’t move at first. His hand stirred the embers with a branch, sparks rising into the night. The silence stretched until it felt like the trees themselves leaned in to hear his answer. “You already know what I am,” he said at last, his voice quiet, even. “A rogue. A man with too many ghosts.” “That’s not an answer,” I pressed. My voice was stronger than I felt. “You train me, push me to the edge, but you hide everything. Why? Why help me at all? You could’ve left me to die.” His eyes lifted from the fire and locked onto mine. For the first time, I
