Carter's POV.

When I arrived home, I made my way to the bedroom. Dumping my boxing back into the closet, I dashed to the bathroom to get a shower.

It was 3AM in the morning, when I came back home. I didn't stay that much because of that worthless idiot.

How did she even follow me all the way to that place? What was she looking for?

When I asked she told me she wanted to satisfy her curiosity.

Some stupid curiosity that could have gotten her into trouble had it been I did not come on that to save her from those hungry rogues. It still baffled me that she couldn't use the strength that usually came out of her mouth to fight those rogues.
