CHAPTER TWENTY FIVECarter's POV.I'm beginning to think that, when I told that girl that I didn't want her on my bed, she thought I was joking. It is enough that I have to share a room with her against my wish and the least I expect from her is any form of disrespect. CHAPTER TWENTY SIX Aurora's POV. I literally freak out every second whenever I think of the possibility that the queen bee; Penelope and her friends were going to come back for me after what I told them this morning. The fear of her bringing her boyfriend to start a fight like they did last time won’t let me have a peaceful day in school. I know what happened last time and everything I went through and I don’t think I will be able to handle it for the second time. I'm doing my best to get out of trouble, but trouble keeps getting in my way. Come to think of it, what did I ever do to any of them? They always seize every opportunity to make my life miserable. CHAPTER TWENT-SEVEN Aurora's POV. I’m sure he just came back from school. I go about doing some random things while waiting for the door to swing open with the kind of force he always does, but nothing happens. Instead, I hear a knock which startles me. Who could be knocking? Because, I know Carter never does that. Why would he be knocking on his own door?I shrug and push the thought at the back of my head as I decide to go get the door."Who is there?” I ask once I’m at the door. I press my ear against it, waiting for an answer. "It's Declan.” A familiar deep voice sounds on the other side of the door. His voice is as deep as their father’s. Even Carter's voice sounds the same."You can come in.” I signal and immediately I finish saying the words, he pushes the door open, almost hitting me as I’m standing behind the door.“What’s wrong with these brothers and violence?” Mia asksin my head as I stumble behind. “I have no idea, Mia. They were naturally born with it, I guess.”

CHAPTER TWENTY-EIGHTCarter's POV. If you asked me what this girl's problem was, I wouldn't be able to tell you. She finds it so hard to stay out of my way. Let her keep pestering me around. I said this already; I'm going to give her the hell she so much requires so that she could go there while I have some peace and be able to breathe freely in my own room. When I thought she would stay, she left my room. CHAPTER TWENTY-NINE.Aurora's POV.When I left that afternoon, I made my way to where all the health activities of the pack are being taken care of. The area is silent. There’s no one in it. Just a few pieces of equipment littering the big hall.It is getting dark and I have to return back to the room Carter and I share. When I make my way into the room, I find him sleeping on the bed. His phone is on the nightstand next to bed. I stand there for a moment and watch him as his chest rises and falls as he breaths. Not wanting to be caught, I retract from where I am standing and walk to the couch. A yawn leaves my mouth and signalling that it is about time I go to bed. I walk to the closet where I open the black bag which contains my clothes. I bring out a big brown material which my mom had given me and which is the same I used when we were out of the pack. CHAPTER THIRTY Aurora's POV. 'You should probably care. You could die and I know for a fact that he wasn't kidding' . She whispered and her force almost threw me off the sofa.'Shouldn't you be sleeping?'. I asked, feeling angry that she almost threw me off the sofa. 'You are right. I didn't get any good sleep on that damn floor. Goodnight '. If only she knew it was morning already A morning that just began wrongly. I sat on the sofa and played with the herm of my dress, till he left the bathroom. He almost tripped on my leg as he passed in front of me and I quickly sent my feet back to the closet. I didn't want him to break them for me. He looked like a beast this morning. Getting up from the sofa, I strode to the bathroom. A smile almost left my lips as I saw that he had cleaned everything. I pick up my phone from the sofa and make my way down the stairs.When I reach the door, I peek inside as I usually do, to make sure someone is inside and luckily for me today, there is someone inside. A nurse.She is dressing the bed with a white sheet as expected of hospital rooms. I tuck a strand of hair behind my ear as I timidly make my way inside. The woman must have noticed someone coming as she stopped what she was doing and looked at the door.Her face was blank when her eyes met mine. It was as though she was used to people walking in here into the clinic without permission. "I'm sorry that I entered without permission." I froze where I was standing, my heart beat raised and was beating faster than normal.
