Chapter 22

He was going to kiss her,

He felt her breath and could already imagine the taste of plump lips against his own, she was breathing heavily, he slowed down purposely allowing her to pull away, but she didn't instead she closed her eyes as if she wanted it too which heightened his desire to kiss her.

"Laura,"

Murmured in warning, pulling her even closer that their nose was almost touching, he gently used the tip of his fingers to caress her lips, he moved close to claim her lip but the ring of the phone on the table made them both jump.

She quickly stood up mumbled some words that he could make out and ran out of his room. He wanted to run after her but he remembered he didn't have legs that can move so he just sat trying to calm his own heart down and also the regret he could feel set in on him.
