Chapter 6

 THE MYSTERY GUY WITH MABLE GREEN EYES

Kiara woke up early in the morning to cook since Daniel on the other hand could not even boil water without getting burnt,

The beach house had been made for Daniel's parents honeymoon, it was made a especially for a couple and only had one huge bedroom, a living room and a grand kitchen

The house was tidy and neat with all the right colors in the right places, the kitchen in preparation of their honeymoon was staffed with food that they would actually use even if they where to stay for a year.

"Something smells good" Daniel said waking from his sleep entering the kitchen

"Well l don't know what smells better between me and the food am cooking" Kiara replied receiving a kiss on the cheek from him

"And how was your night?" She asked

"My whole body is aching, am not sleeping on that couch again its soo uncomfortable" he complained making her laugh,

If anything, she was happy the dense atmosphere between them had now subsided

"Am going for a swim after breakfast" Kiara announced making Daniel burst out laughing,

" you can't even swim"he said

"I can i was taking classes back home" she answered

"Classes you didn't tell me about?, come on kiara don't go and kill yourself" he laughed

"In case you didn't know there is a whole bunch of things i don't tell you, you are just pathetic, you know what, i will go to the beach and have some fun, who knows someone might be interested in me" she said as if teasing him, she knew how protective he was of her when it came to other men

"Do what you want, just know that by the time you will be drowning, i wont be around to save that pretty ass, am going to the gym"

"Fine, its not like i will drown anyway and even if i do, trust me someone will be at my aid" she answered determined

They had their breakfast still arguing about Kiara not knowing how to swim, 

After they where done eating, Kiara changed into a bikini and covered herself with a towel, the beach was a short distance from their house, a person on their door way would easily everyone at the beach so it was practically a three minutes walk.

"Bye am off to swim" she called out to Daniel who was still in the shower

"Don't drown yourself!" he yelled back.

The beach had a few people swimming while others where just sun bathing,

She spread her tower and lay on the sand to relax, she had been taking swimming classes but her instructor who happened to be her last boyfriend before the wedding made it very clear that she still wasn't ready to swim in deep waters, now she wished she had finished his classes.

"Hey" she heard a voice say, when she looked up, she saw a very handsome face with abs which practically screamed 'touch me'

He sat down beside her, he had Mable green eyes, a pointed nose and lips that screamed 'kiss me'

She found herself mouthing a "wow" 

"Hey" he said

"Hey" she answered trying to get back to her sences

"Can i join you if you don't mind?"

"No,Am kiara"she said with a smile 

"Kaira, pretty name for a beautiful lady"she felt her cheeks blush at his words

"I will take that has a compliment"

The guy was handsome in every way, except he wasn't as handsome as Daniel but who was she to compare, he was saying something she didn't even listen as she was drooling all over him

She gave her self a mental slap, if Amanda could flirt with Daniel and she called her a Bitch then what exactly was she right now?

"Can we be friends, Am new here, just came for a vacation two days ago" he said

"Oh sure, l also came for some sort of vacation as well" she answered, the guy was totally interested in her, if she told him she was married, that would be a total turn off she wasn't willing to make.

"Oh okay, if its okay with you can we have dinner," he brought out his phone and she dialed her number

"Is that a date?" She asked

"We could call it that" the guy was flirting with her and she was playing along and loving it

"That would be lovely, you could just text me the location, you see am here with my elder brother, my very over protective elder brother" she lied laughing hard inwardly at her own lie

"Well, i understand why he is over protective, it must not be easy having a sister as hot as this, everyone might be after her and you wont know who is genuine,"

She already liked the fact the guy was handsome, and to think she was going to get to know him during their date, things couldn't get any better.

"Lets go for a swim" he suggested

"I don't know how to swim, wouldn't want to drown my ass" she said remembering what Daniel had said before she left

"You are lucky you have a good teacher with you" John said making her smile

She had enjoyed the morning with him,within a few hours,they had talked about almost everything, this was the kind of relationship she liked where you just go with the flow.

"Someone had a good time" she heard Daniel say immediately she entered the house

"Well yes, l did" she answered

"You are back from the gym?" She asked

" no, l didn't go l was too caught up thinking you were going to drown if i didn't watch over you"he said

This only meant he had been watching her every move on the beach, just how pathetic could he be?

"So,, whose the mystery guy?" He asked, now that was a good question, they had talked about everything except his name

"I didn't catch his name"she replied partly surprised at his attitude, the Daniel she knew would have already gone to question the guy but there he was being all nice about it

"I always knew you had bad taste in guys" he scoffed

"There was no need to know his name okay, its not like it was anything serious"she said a bit annoyed

"Anyway, am glad you had a good time, go and change we are going out for lunch" he said, she nodded and went into the bedroom,

Though she was glad, his attitude towards the whole mystery guy was somehow awarkard, she was used to him always nagging.

Within five minutes, she was done dressing and found Daniel in the car waiting, she quickly got in

"Can we pass through some boutiques after lunch, l need to get something" she said

"Sure" he answered as he drove off, she was only praying inwardly that he wasn't taking them to that witch's restaurant...
