Chapter 48

LESLIE

The light was still turned on in the bathroom so, I could clearly see my face in the mirror.

I slapped my both cheeks and shook my head.

"Pull yourself together!" I smacked in my head.

"Stop thinking about him. Stop behaving like a high school timid girl that has a secret crush. Wake up, he is not yours." I told myself and slapped my cheeks again.

I splashed more water on my face and my face finally cooled down and I was feeling better.

I got ready for the bed. I took another bath and wore my nightie before going to bed.

I turned off the bedstand lamp but I could not seem to sleep. It felt like I was troubled and nervous.

For what seem like forever and impossible, I finally fell asleep.

The next morning, I woke up with a tired yawn. I rubbed my tired eyes and tiredly sat up on the bed. Even after falling asleep last night, I still could not get a proper sleep.

I woke up sometimes and stayed awake before sleeping again.

I stood up from my bed and walked toward my wind
