It was 1 am and Katherine and Aiden were sitting at the outside dining table by the pool. Mrs. Lewis insisted they sit outside and enjoy the starry night. The elderly woman prepared her famous tossed salad with pork chops and had her signature homemade dressing to top it off.

"Dinner is served," Mrs. Lewis smiled as she set the tray of deliciousness on the table. She placed plated meals in front of each of them. "Go on dear, taste it," she said to Kat.

Katherine smiled and took the fork with some of the greens and chops. She dipped it in the sauce and took a bite. "Hmm, Mrs. Lewis, this is amazing," she praised. "You have to give me the recipe."

Mrs. Lewis laughed. "I will one day. Enjoy the rest of your meal."

"Wait, why don't you join us?" Katherine asked, and Mrs. Lewis's eyes watered. "She can join us, right Aiden?"

"Of course you can, Aunt. Let me pull up a chair for you," Aiden said as he got up and helped Mrs. Lewis to get seated.

    The drive to the cemetery where Nile was buried was about an hour and a half from Aiden's and Katherine's home. Katherine thought it was a better idea if her mom and Mrs. Lewis came with them so that they could watch the babies while they visited Nile's graveside.
