Staring at the ceiling, I gulped, I was very tired and bored. I’d been here for about 8 hours, I was already out of food and water. I wasn’t hungry and tasty, but I was extremely bored.

I got up from where I was seated and decided to go through Ezra’s stuff, he locked me here so I might as well go through his stuffs. I pulled out his drawer and picked up a chocolate bar that lay on a book, I felt like having a snack, so I took a bite of the chocolate bar. I then brought out a locket and opened it, and there was a picture of a woman and a child in there. The child looked very scared, he was seated on a lady's lap and she was smiling. I stared at the picture intently and felt a sudden type of pain in my heart.

‘Selena, is this mate?’ I asked softly and I could see her nod. He looked so scared.
