Falling

“N-No. Nothing,” I stuttered.

He cleared his throat. “You need to move faster, Leigh. I still have a meeting with the executives.”

I nodded my head and smiled before walking towards the bathroom.

Weird. Really weird. He's been acting more like a different person since yesterday and it's making me anxious.

And the way he looked at me gives me the creeps. I don't have any idea what's going on through his head but it seems like I am his target. Again.

I took a shower and did my morning routine. The smell of the shower gel made me think about his manly scent. He smells really nice. I quickly washed my body and slapped my cheeks.

Stop thinking about him, damn it! Just stop.

After bathing, I wore a formal dress and black sandals. I got out of the wardrobe and saw the two men in my room. Sheldon was standing still near the door while Bryce was sitting on the sofa.

Bryce looked at me. “That suits you better,” he complimented.

I looked at Sheldon and furrowed my brows and looked at Bryce
